- Why haven't I heard of this group before?? This was by far one of the greatest performances I've seen. This was by far a special video, they are similar but different compared to the Jabbawockeez.

I've watched this Kinjaz performance so many times and my reaction is always like I'm watching it for the first time. Fantastic!

Keone joining at the end was crazy. Each member are choreographers. all teamed up and just dangerous together.

There's like 29-30 members in the Kinjaz. Keone joining forces with the Kinjaz just makes them totally unstoppable.
This is basically an all star group of really well known choreographers. They put out extremely high quality content so there’s tons of great stuff to see! From performances like this to super sick choreography videos. Tons of different styles but all so cool in their own way.
I’d recommend watching their videos for “The Scotts” and “Cut em in” to see some more recent stuff! Their performance “Whiskey Drip” is also super slick. Definitely keep watching them! There’s a lot to see haha

Hey there. I wanted to share some info about The Kinjaz.
It is pronounced as "Kin-juz", like ninjas, just switch the 'n' with a 'k', and the 's' with a 'z'. The 'K', or 'Kin' for them, stands for Family (previously stand for 'Brotherhood'). So the full name stands for "Family of Ninjas". They have been a crew since 2010. They're are basically dancing nerds, that love anime (their costumes are most inspired by "Naruto"), and pretty much Asian culture, and they were formerly known as the ANBU Black Ops, before changing their name to the Kinjaz. They are a crew of over 35 members, mixed with great dancers, several incredible choreographers (including Keone (Key-oh-nee) Madrid, ones of the Kinjaz latest members (at the time, and not the leader), who was the guy on the platform. Who as well actually competed in NBC's WOD with his wife Mari (Mar-ree), but lost against Les Twins. And Keone & Mari are both known as 2 of the top best street/urban dance choreographers in the world), and people working within multi-media industry (especially some of the members that do the video work from Vibrvncy, yes that's how they spell it). The Arena is a dance competition in Singapore, and this is their Exhibition Showcase performance
They have 1 of the former members of the Jabbawockeez (Ben Chung aka B-Tek), 2 members of a crew that battled against them (Mike Song (one of the co-founders) & Tony Tran) during ABDC Season 1 called Kaba Modern (which 1 of them (Tony) eventually became a Jabbawockeez member), 4 of the Poreotics (Charles, Chad, Law & Jet-Li), & 2 from Mos Wanted Crew (Jawn (John) Ha & Bam Martin). Sorry for going over board, but I'm extremely passionate for the Kinjaz. They have majority of my favourite choreographers, they love anime & ninjas as much I do (or maybe more than me), and their clothes designs are so cool, which you can buy them from their online store by the way. X) Anyway. Hope this isn't way too much. I would suggest to watch Keone & Mari's NBC's WOD qualifier performance ( czcams.com/video/j09O8DpbuLw/video.html ), and of course their 15 video series "Preface" ( czcams.com/play/PLa954TPFhME9O0MtxuSZ1FLKu-A78MLb1.html ) (Specifically watch (in this order) 3, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14, 11, 7, 5, & 15). Trust me you'll love them. I'll give you links to them.
I knew you'd flip out over these guys! This is from a competition they put on every year, so they were not competing. It's just an exhibition set. And they actually one of the OG Jabbawockeez in their crew (Ben Chung), plus a few other guys have performed with the Jabbaz in the past. Overall, they have like 35 members, but there's a core group of like 10 or 12 that are most often with them. They blend all hip hop styles together: popping, animation, b-boying, house and a lot gangsta type hip hop style. Everything, you name it. They actually have two YT channels: "The Kinjaz" (with their produced videos, freestyles and things like podcasts) & Kinjaz Dojo" (which has videos from their training for the show videos and other class videos). The best part is they're all also really down to Earth, cool people. I actually was able to spend a month training with them at their old studio, so I've had classes with most of these guys.
And the choreographers in order are: Mike Song and Anthony Lee (who are the founders) did the opening bit with the hats, Bam Martin did the first Kendrick verse, Vinh Nguyen did the second Kendrick verse, and the legend Keone Madrid (who was making his first ever appearance with Kinjaz in this show) did the Problem song.

I first watched this performance in 2017 and I don't think I have gone a month without watching it again. I was as blown away as you are. I don't know if you know who BTS is but, if you love dance videos and you don't watch their dance practice videos (chose the ones with the most views), you will be missing something so amazing. Just be aware that BTS is HUGE all over the world and their fan base is called "The Army"...the reason why they have so many fans is it is impossible to watch them perform and get to know who they are as human beings, and not become part of "The Army". The 7 most amazing young men on the planet.
