I'm back on my soapbox about using good shampoo and conditioners to keep your hair strong, and healthy. This is more important than ever since a lot of us have experienced hair loss due to COVID. These are the three shampoos and conditioners I rotate regularly to keep my scalp clean of build up, my mid lengths and ends strong, and my hair swingy and shiny!

Loreal has new kinda new bond treatment it literally works just as good as Oloplex it's called WonderWater 8 after you shampoo you put in on it actually heats up for few seconds your only supposed to leave it in for 8 seconds and wash out then you can condition if needed but usually don't it makes your hair so soft so silky for $8 it's a find of a lifetime. Especially if you can't afford the $30 a pop for oloplex. Please please give it a try I tell everyone even the girls at the grocery checkout ( it's Texas I talk to everyone) my grocery store people know my entire life story...Sorry I regress but also Sally's now has an Oloplex knock off $9 per product. I just used the shampoo and conditioner and they are amazing like %80=%90 make my hair feel as good as Oloplex no lie and I have platinum blonde hair I've been doing myself for 3 years. I have 2 kiddos 15 and a 22 yr old we are putting thru flight school so I've had to find cheaper alternatives. You must try the Loreal Wonder water if anything.

Your hair might be thinning but wow its looking gorgeous! 😍 I understand the struggle though, I'm thankful I have wavy hair because it somewhat hides how much of it I have lost/ continue to lose because of my health issues and medication. Will definitely be checking out some of these recommendations! 💕

Thanks for sharing these products and your results! I tried Opalex and it made my hair worse. Finally, I stumbled on Pureolegy and it has been the only product to take my dry frizzy hair back to normal. I live on a sailboat and dive pretty much daily. The sun and sea water killed my hair. I am excited to try the Kérastase products you recommended.

I wish Kerastase wasn't so expensive, because my hair loves it. I have oily roots, and it's the only brand that allowed me to go 5 days without washing my hair. And I didn't have to use dry shampoo until day 3, when usually I start on day 2.
Is there a certain kerastase you used? I have super oily hair and am always on the hunt for a good shampoo. I have to wash every day.
I love macadamia professional nourishing sooo good for colored hair , thats needs vitamins and moisture. Try it.
Kerastase is pricy but the products deliver; I love the Genesis line! 😊

I think I may check out the kerastase you recommended. I currently rotate through Oribe shampoo/conditioners. I find that Oribe really makes my hair look fantastic - super shiny and healthy. My hair is starting to come back after years of severe vitamin D deficiency.
I wanna try kérastase so bad! I’ve heard great things! As well as pureology’s I’ll get there eventually!
I’m currently using Briogeo’s matcha and apple superfood’s shampoo and conditioner in rotation with Davroe (aus hair care brand) Curlicue line and Bumble and bumble’s Sunday shampoo and my hair has been doing so good! Also incorporated a scalp scrub and serum! I’ve been losing my hair since I had covid too and my scalp likes to get irritated easily so I’m amazed to actually have 3 in my rotation at once, it’s a blessing 🤣💀
Ah what a time to be losing one's hair, (thanks Covid) and to be hopelessly poor.
Time to reevaluate the budget to get my hair back.

Love your recommendations! What do you think of ColorWow products? I just recently bought it and my hair feels pretty good. Also, the olaplex shampoo and conditioner I hear also are protein rich products. I’m a little confused as to how often I should use them. I have oily ,fine highlighted hair and I wash it about twice a week. What do you think about purple shampoo and conditioner? Do you use them? If so what brand?

Would love to hear your opinion on the Augustinus Bader Shampoo and Conditioner...alot of love and alot of hate for it. Its aimed at hair loss so it might be worth looking into for you.
Ohhhh looking into this brand now! I've never heard of it, so I truly appreciate the recommendation.
I also have thin, fine, curly hair (much curlier than yours though…like 3B curls, so that makes my strands break that much easier…yay me). I have COVID right now, so I guess around February I’m gonna lose like 50% of my hair and I’m terrified. My hair is already thin and weak (mostly because I can’t consume enough protein on a regular basis - both because protein is expensive and because my partner likes to eat meat so I give the portion I probably need to eat to him).
I love the Kevin Murphy products the most ☝🏽

Unfortunately Pantene products are terrible for your hair😓 They leave so much build up, and over time they cause EXTREME breakage, as well as a wax like coating preventing the follicles from breathing, and maintaining proper moisture levels. The best thing you can do for your hair is invest in high quality products that work for you ❤️🙏🏻Thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️
