I'm so glad this was recommended to me! I got some Olaplex products for the first time a couple of weeks ago, thinking this would give me the best hair ever.
My hair is 'bad' (super dry, thin, fizzy) all on its own but got significantly worse over the past weeks. Without this video I would never have connected the dots and blamed Olaplex. Ever! 😅 So after watching this on Friday, I tossed Olaplex, purchased some Kevin Murphy travel size products online and washed my hair with a drugstore shampoo I had. What a difference it made, my hair is all soft and bouncy - it's insane to me! What a rip off 😮
    Thank you, seriously 😊

You managed to answer the EXACT question I had and I cannot thank you enough! Since my last “treatment” over 2 years ago my hair is just sh*t. What kept me alive dried out everything- skin hair you name it! I went from blonde back to my original color bc I couldn’t take the damage it was causing- just had balage about a month ago and my hair is still wrecked - I live on the beach(though I do not go out in the sun I do walk a lot) and the air dried it a lot! Anyway my point was it was between Murphy and Purolgy! Going to buy Kevin Murphy hair products right now!
    Thank you so much!!

Kerastase used to be fab back in the day. Now its over priced gunk. The only one I love is KMurphy. My hais started thinning and I love his plumping wash, except it does make my hair oily the next day. 🙃 But it is amaaaazziinnngggg. As a 51yo mum, it is awesome for keeping healthy hair during the change of life . I dont mind the extreme line from Redken and also wella have a nice everday line that works well for normal hair.

I was using sulfate free shampoo and silicone free conditioners for years, and my hair never looked good. It was always greasy dry, and looked like hay, no more natural curl, no volume, dandruff and just hard to manage. I had to use my besties pretty basic drugstore stuff when I slept over and my hair looked just like it did back in highschool.. fresh, clean, bouncy. So i dunno anymore 🤷‍♀️
Speaking of Redkin, I really do like their Acidic Bonding line, particularly the hair in mask. I still do add in high end hair products but zim not so dead set aginst sulfate and silicones like I once wasl

But you are right about the smell... I always tend to buy the best smelling shampoo and conditioner and unfortunatelly Kerastase is really good with that, but I find that their products for the most part rely on the silicones and that there are not much of really nourishing ingredients, what do you think? ☺️💖
