Hello Brian, you are absolutely correct! I failed to mention that I have a Hobbywing Fusion Pro 2300kv going into the Capra, but I am waiting on all the parts to arrive before I dig into it (have a Vader flat delrin skid coming soon and Vitavon carbon fiber panels).
Be cautious if you are wanting to change out the ESC->battery connector. If you cut that signal wire the transmitter acts really funny and cuts off. If you dont want to use a smart battery i would suggest putting a different ESC (and receiver because its a 2-in-1) so that you can use your XT60.
Thanks for the info ZSRC, didn't realize it was a 2 in 1! But, it just so happens I have picked up a new receiver and a Hobbywing Fusion Pro 2300kv (newer short can version) that I will be installing as soon as I can find the time. Unfortunately I got real busy with a second job, have to move and the weather really went bad on me here in Oregon. Can't wait to get this thing going though, thanks again :-)
@generalcaeser9176 So I finally got the Capra done and put back together after all this time. I didn't realize that the battery tray has 2 adjustment screws down in the bottom so that you can slide the back wall of the tray to the rear just over an 1/8th of an inch which was perfect. Once I did that, this pack fits pretty well will a bit of wrestling with the plugs (xt60) and wire. The little Hoovo 1500 batteries fit better and are easier to deal with for sure but sometimes I just want a larger pack just to grab N go if I'm planning on crawling for just 45 minutes or an hour and don't want to change packs.
You still need an adapter to plug that battery into the Capra !

Why didn't you plug it in? It looks like it fits unplugged but plugged in could be an issue.
Definitely an oversight on that, I will have to do a follow up 🤣
