As Flipflopi Ndogo was the world's first recycled plastic dhow - a prototype - we're opening her up to asses, learn, improve and partly rebuild her using new, innovative techniques.
Here your weekly update: We turned her to one side to access the planks from the keel going upwards. Work in progress, one colourful plastic plank at a time!

It's all very exciting. Your work here is amazing. I wonder about the plastic welding and what would happen if the plastic expands as the boat sails. Won't there be cracks? Amazing work!
