What doesn’t make sense is Donnie’s testimony of deliverance isn’t new. He didn’t just tweet this over the weekend. Why would they invite him in the first place if this was an issue? And the entire Christian message is about being changed into a new creation from EVERY lifestyle. That is all of our testimonies. We’ve all be saved and set free from something.

I don't use the word gay, I call them what they are "homosexual" I hate we can no longer use that word as it was meant and that is "happy". I disagree. Your history does not define you, especially if you are no longer in that former practice. An ex- klansman is someone who no longer believes that they are superior to others and perform hate acts. Due to that they no longer practices the acts, beliefs, ideas that support them in being a klansman. Someone who is no longer in a homosexual lifestyle is someone who no longer practices the habits, beliefs, ideas, that would cause them to be in relationship with those of the same sex.
In Christianity, we believe the flesh, which is the natural desires and wants that we have as humans that are against God's laws, will always be there. However, through the power of Christ's redemption and blood, we have the power to not give into those temptations. " If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation," Therefore, those desires may be there, but if you no longer act on it, but overcome what God sees as sin, you are now an ex-whatever as you no longer practice or identify as your past associations/desires/indulgences/identity.
Thank God for Pastor Donnie, Our Savior Jesus delivers from any sin or bondage including Homosexuality. Its God they are fighting but Our God will never lose.
