Love seeing these type of Canadian Mounted Police movies! Russell Hayden was a pretty good Actor, I really liked seeing him in the Hopp-Along Cassidy Movies, and I still watch them.👍🎥🍿
This movie looks like it may have been filmed on the Western town movie set that was built in 1946, a year before this movie came out. It was an 1870's frontier town named Pioneertown, located between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree in the Morongo Basin of Southern California. Pioneertown was founded by a group of Hollywood investors which included the star of this movie, Russell Hayden, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and the Sons of the Pioneers (for whom the town was named). They were some of the original investors and personalities who helped build and invent Pioneertown. More than 50 films and several television shows were filmed in Pioneertown throughout the 1940s and 1950s. It is still open to the public and includes a famous eatery and music venue called Pappy and Harriet's. Many famous musicians like Robert Plant have played there.
