"I wish they got the British guy for Hop" But Breeton is part of the UK rappers
You mean shwabidi
@@G_yeezy No thats BreetonBoi not Shwab.
@@G_yeezy The UK Trio is basically any track where either Rustage, ConnorQuest, Shwabadi, Breeton Boi or Shao Dow are gathered, but if it's more than 3 it becomes a "UK Bias" track (quite litterally in the "UK Bias" song from Rustage's Album)
@@kingvidster5637 uk trio is any three uk rappers in a track
@@desakarnii5711 No it’s not lol the “UK Trio” is literally just the name for Rustage, Shwabadi, and Connor Quest collaborating. “UK Bias” is the joking loose term for the amount of UK artists in Nerdcore
9:50 when the person who he wished was British..... was actually British.
It hurt to hear you call Breeton not British, because he is
IKR
Sadge breeton fun noises
no he german
@@tacocat766 I hope ur joking
@@tacocat766 /s?
Totally get why Barry was your favourite, Cam went absolutely WILD on this one. I personally loved Hop's verse, especially that last line.
Btw the dude in the Hop verse is British lmao. Breeton Boi is part of the UK Bias that people keep going on about
"I wish they got the British rapper on Hop"
Breeton IS British lmao
Barry was my absolute favorite simply because of the intro. It’s just perfect for his character with how energetic it was.
CAME IN WITH THE THUUD!
i’ll be chargin a million bucks
i love how barry is "came in with a thud!" which. yk. references how he runs into you in cutscenes and the game goes THUD!! whenever he does.
Just to let people know UK Bias is a song by Rustage ,another nerdcore artist, that involves nerdcore rappers that are British(Rustage, Swabadi, Conner-Quest, Shao dow, and Breeton-Boi)
Don't forget that the meme itself was coined by Nonelikejoshua
@@jonathanoniada1948 I actually didn't know that
As far as my favorites:
1. Wally. Is it Hoenn bias? Is it just Mat4yo? Idk, but every single line hits.
2. Hop. Breeton did something interesting here, specifically targeting the boasts Leon and Victor made in the ciphers they appeared in and deflating them. Watching the ciphers back-to-back, it's clear Hop's knocking his brother and his rival down to battle with.
3. Blue. That FLOW! Absolutely rocked the game.
4. Hugh. A lot of incredible, sneaky puns in there, incorporating just about everything.
5. Silver. Tells his story, gets his attitude across, really good worplay.
6. Shauna. Chi-Chi took a character that is absolutely no threat in game and made the bold decision to make the entire thing one long brag; if you noticed, she said "I'll be dancing around you with Tierno and Trevor", implying that even the weakest rivals you had will still kick your ass.
7. Barry. Just one nonstop ride, like you said.
8. Gary. That pure cocky energy is absolutely perfect for his verse. Plus, the "couple Ls" line is 100% perfect.
9. Cheren. It's really hard to have 3 rappers in a cipher that continuously brag through the whole thing, and, unfortunately for Cheren, Shauna and Gary did it better.
10. Hau. Stayed true to his character, I guess, but there's not much *to* that character is there?
Shauna is the one piece of X and Y that personality has, and even then she doesn't get much time or effort to show her personality. But the auto-tune ish part sounds AMAZING
Silver to Wally to Barry is my favourite section of this cypher, easily the most memorable.
Damn. I don't think I've seen anyone watch a Ty Wild verse and be like, "eh, it was ok". But that's why I watch lots of reactors, the different points of view are fun.
Yeah, the reaction is so different when he reacts from a pokemon standpoint instead of a rapper one
can someone explain why ty’s was apparently godlike? cause i don’t hear it
@@postonian425 I mean, I'd say he was top 3 and this is probably the weakest verse I've ever heard him spit. Listen to some of his other features, I'd recommend either "Titan Talk" or the JJK "Tokyo Student Cypher"
@@postonian425 really advanced word play that you have to listen for and the meaning of some things most people dont even know
@@postonian425 People like Ty Because of his flow and his ability to word play it top their. He's versatile, and has an S teir vocabulary.
Ok you missed a lot of bars for Hugh, and also Hop (Breeton Boi) is British lol, but I really appreciate that you are honest about your opinions which several reactors don’t and just say that they like everything
I love Silver's verse. Kevin Bennett just embodied Silver.
Nice mustache, mate
I've watched reactions to this from many rappers. What i got from that was, Wally's has masterful word play, Barry's has a strong flow and sweet alliterations, Hop's got some crazy ryme schemes, and Hugh's is apparently absolutely amazing
So...Ty get's a lot of cred from the nerd core scene because he's a really good rapper with some really good flow and some crazy bars (I don't need a game boy, No need for a De-Esser (a tool usually used in audio mixing to target high pitched tones and make em sound not as harsh, literally he doesn't need a de-esser for the highs...but also Gameboy and DS).
Hugh's is great because Ty gets a lot of credit for really wild word play. But from a pokemon fan like Patterz, a valid point of Hugh's character is not being well represented here.
These cypher raps are interesting to see from different perspectives, cause largely the rappers reacting are going to love the clever word play and rapping ability over the representation of the character. Of particular note, gen 6 tends to get teh short end of the stick because of this due to gen 6's focus on melody (despite working better with the french theme).
@@dinghe6948 You kinda got the de-esser line backwards. He said "need a de-esser for these highs, dawg", because what a de-esser actually does is cut the top of a range off, softening the highs so they don't stand out so much, to correct for how a sharp S can very easily peak a mic. Basically, his highs are so high that you'd need a tool like a de-esser to soften them down to everyone else's level.
@@elijahpadilla5083 I fucked up my explanation but I did mean that
Ty (Hugh) and Breeton (Hop) absolutely bodied this, thier flows rhyme schemes and bars were too much easily the best verses imo 😵
you're the first reactor I've seen yet who appreciated Silver's verse & how perfectly it was written for his character & i was DELIGHTED like FINALLYY
His and Wally's are both great at demonstrating their development by the end
UK Bias is a song from British nerd core rapper That's he's album, Overflow. Also, Breetonboi, the guy who did How's verse, is actually British as well.
The guy who rapped for Hop is from the UK his name is Breeton Boi lol
I know you didn’t feel it, but I thought Hop’s was amazing in this. One of my favorites. Probably Hop, Wally, Barry. With a special mention to Shauna, singing is like a weakspot for me in cyphers cause it just feels so fresh after all the rapping. Hope the villain cypher is soon! Probably one of my favorite of these. NateWantsToBattle all the way.
Yeah one of my favorite parts from this cypher is when he says something like “no intellion don’t care what he says he on”
Never expect him to rate hop or gen 5 high. Like just expect him to find it the least favorite bro
Ikr I’m actually annoyed he didn’t like it him and hau were the best in my opinion
Well, for the Shauna verse, at least Chi-Chi rapper for the first half. Also, I usually only complain about singing if it is pure singing in a rap cypher. In “regular” cyphers, I have no complaints about this. Also, actual singing cyphers are a thing, McGwire made one already.
@@humanoidfrog4645 it’s usually because the first verse sets the bar so high that everything else drops a bit because you expect to get even better as it goes
I can’t wait for you to react to the Pokémon villain rap cypher, it goes hard
'UK Bias' Refers to the group of nerdcore rappers from the UK (Breeton Boi, Shao Dow, Rustage, Shwabadi)... they also made a rap for it.
For my favorite verse on the cypher... it's a Tie between Hugh's for his Bars, and Barry and Wally's for the Flow.
You forgot Connor Quest. shame.
@@LastWeekIDidThis was about to comment that too
@@LastWeekIDidThis ah fuck... sorry Connor... shame on me.
Ironically all the rappers he has said UK Bias about.
Damn, I thought Silver had it for sure. The way he ended especially just had me. But I can respect the Barry pick.
I'm loving this series, would be cool to see the evil team leader one next.
Yeah, the villain cypher is my fav one
I love your perspective on these Pat, because it's just so different, which is needed in any scenario. I say this, because of your view on the Gen 5 verses. I know you don't know a lot about rapping or music, but as someone who does, those verses are the best objectively.
Love the reactions as always man! I recommend Cam's "Arceus vs Giratina" rap. It has a lot of references only a true fan would catch on the first listen.
My favorites were Wally, Shauna, Hau and Gary Oak. Gary Oak I am biased again as I love Mega Ran. I love the ending to Wally’s voice. And Shauna*sigh* was speculator(Chi-Chi kills these cyphers though).
I now have to go and cry. It seems that I am a nobody as I actually do like Shauna, Tierno and Trevor. 😢
I’m biased towards the Kalos rivals. My first Pokémon game was Pokémon X, and at the time, I was not aware of so much of the knowledge of Pokémon I know now, so thanks for pointing out the greatness of Chi-Chi’s verse.
Well breeton boi who rapped as hop is actually british and if you look at breeton boi's real life photo you will see why he was chosen for hop
I like how for Hop he said he wished that they got a british rapper on it when BreetonBoi is british XD
Love how u say hop wasnt UK when breeton is UK.
Theres a tonne of technical stuff and well written lines in Tys verse so I can understand if you missed some of it. But for someone who states they dont listen to rap in these reactions you catch alot in the way of recognising backing tracks and flows for a first time listen.
I'm going with Silver as my favorite. Can you do the Eevee rap cypher next? that one is my favorite of all of Cam Steady's rap cyphers, and not just his pokemon ones lol.
Poor breeton. Everybody knows he’s British but the actual British guy who reacts to him.
It makes sense why there's no breaks for Barry, since he rarely pulls up the breaks and is always on the go
Ty Wild who did Hugh is probably considered one of the best if not the best rapper in the nerdcore scene. Imo the verse was amazing but it wasn't really a good hugh verse. Amazing bars. Great flows but didn't really talk about hugh or anything like that so I can understand why you wouldn't fuck with it like that
Friendly comment or to give context to some stuff to Pat (if you see this pat btw love the vids).
1. Uk bias is a group in the NERDCORE scene that is made up of British rappers
2. Hop’s rapper is actually British and is part of Uk bias
UK Bias is a song by rustage where everyone British nerdcore rapper raps on it
I really liked the Gen 1, 2 and 4 verses. But that "'96 Bad Boy" line in the Gary verse absolutely sent me for no reason.
TY wild the Goat! Another great video!
I like the Toxic Breath line in Wally's verse, cause I think its a reference to the Adventures Manga.
I catch new lines every time I listen to these and for me its between wally and barry
Shauna is actually my favorite rival in recent memory. Ever since Silver, the only rival I liked has been Shauna.
Bro that Cheren verse had six back to back gun bars
I love these, keep doing them please😎
Agreed
Chi-chi should be a famous singer
Not being biased with my favorite artist, but Wally has the best verse. Character development + big brain references is an auto love for me. Also, Cheren, since he has no chill through this whole thing.
UK Bias is a song by one of these nerdcore rappers named Rustage, and him, Shwabadi, and Connor are commonly referred to as the UK Trio
The fact that Pat will dump on Hugh and Hau for being shallow but likes Hop will keep me awake at night
You better do the villain rap cypher it's probably one of the best ones
Best verse imo:
How I'm running with the blade (reference to Blade Runner, but also to Gallade cause his name has blade in it) this psy-fight (Gallade's typing) is sci-fi. (Blade Runner's movie genre)
It’s amazing how this is his 4th Pokémon Rap cypher and he still thinks these are rap battles
Hope you end up checking out the Villain Cypher, its my personal favorite
Also Breeton is British, you're never living this down
Uk bias is a song by Rustage on his latest album. A good listen if you just want some British lads going at it
ive been waiting for this
Am I the only one who notices that Blues line starts off with " It that dude blue, happy to pull through" again
YESSSS I've been WAITING for THIS reaction! Honestly my favorite at first was Shauna (Hey there ARE fans who like her, I'll represent! XD) But as I listened more and more, my favorites grew to Wally, Cheren, Hau, and Hop's. I surprised Hau and Hop weren't your favorites, the beat and flow they had was soooooooooo gooood~
I am fan of Shauna’s as well!
Its the only part that constantly gives me chills
Everyone tell him to react to the Pokémon villains cypher
Poor Breeton being called not British. It's also very easy to tell that you don't know much about rap, which is fair since you're open about that.
man with shaunas he is smiling the whole time and then DUNKS on her for not being cool and hanging out with tierno and trevor
Need more of these. the villain one slaps
Basically Pat, 'UK BIAS' is a Rap by Nerdcore artist Rustage, on which Shao Dow, the Galar starters, features on. I recommend you give it a listen.
I know this is old, but I never noticed Cam used a clip where Wally catches the shiny Ralts in the tutorial of how to catch a pokemon
Wally was the only one to give me chills though overall I'm leaning toward Silver
Not gonna lie these are interesting because he's looking for different things in these verses than most other reactors, so the new takes on each verse are refreshing.
Gotta love how wally hit the odds of finding a shiny ralts on the catching tutorial but returning to a non shiny after
"team plasma praying I'll let bygones be bygones" was the reference to hugh's sister's purrloin btw
Wally, ended off on a real high note.
Wally for me, that ending still sticks with me to this day.
As a Barry simp, it made me happy he picked him 😄
4:20 they really should have just given this guy to nonelikeJoshua
Man I love Pokémon
I watch this video for as many there are stars in the universe and how have not realize that the last line of hau was "imma conquer all the
Island like my granpa ni****"
I think when we say UK Bias is because Rustage made a song called UK Bias and everyone on that song is a UK rapper.
Best bar "It's paradoxal how I've caught them all but not Mr. Rime (missed a rhyme)
Rip Breeton, if he isn’t British anymore we will gladly take him. Boy is crazy good
“You want smoke, but you won’t start fires”
~_~
Are you gonna react to the pokemon villain rap cypher by cam steady next?
Mat4yo is the most detailed rapper each line is detailed you can find by you are self or see his video.
Aye big boy early to a big boy video.
The guy that rapped for hop is British
You should do the villain cypher next
Vouch
Reaction to cam steady's pokemon villain rap cypher next please.
Do the pokemon villain rap cypher aswell? Unless u already have
You’ll definitely love the Villains, I personally did
fun fact I work with some of the rappers there with my main one being rustage and I help make most of the beats so kudos to me and to everyone on the team. And barry def won with silver a close second
Wally is by far my favrioute character in Pokémon he just has so much personality unlike some others cough the Unova rivals cough I mean I don’t even remember them I had to look up all rivals just to remember there existence
Wait till the end on both
Breeton Boi the guy who did Hop's verse is from the UK
Now you just have to do the Villain one!
Yeah!!!!!!
this is more of a reaction for the pokemon references not the actual rapping thats why verses that were good like cheren and hugh didnt get a lot of credit here also Ty is freaking Wild
A day late. But again, loved the reaction and your eye for the game references. But my favorites would have to be Aerial Ace's and Ty Wild's, with a mention with Ham's.
The reason is simply because of the references and bar breakdown along with the references to the game. But Chi-Chi, while doing well as a stand-alone verse, didn't flow well and killed the vibe of the cypher. That's a personal thing, but once Ty finished his verse, the singing threw me off so far that I was near finishing Mega Ran's verse before I was able to catch on what happened. Again, as a stand-alone verse, very good, but not so well in a cypher.
Aside from that, everyone did kill it and took major hits in the game once the bars are broken down
Aerial Ace isn't on this?
@@DanDek I must've mistaken Politicess for Ace...fuck
I absolutely loved Barry's verse in this one "and I'd you're tardy to the party il be charging you 10000000 bucks" I loved the bar cuz it references his lines where he says if you're late you owe him 1000000 pokedollars
Breeton is british. Also the mixing is done by Freshy Kanal whose style with cyphers is to build things up to a halfway point then have it smooth out before ramping back up at the end. If every verse does that intense buildup it loses meaning due to repetition. If you liked Silver you need to check Kevin’s personal work, especially Tyrannosaurus, Mayday, and Chaos.
Villain rap cypher my favorite...
Do villains cypher next
They actually did get a UK rapper for hops part 🤣🤣
Who wants to tell him breeton boi (the guy who did hop) is British…
I love your comintary
8:02 no, it's a little thing called SINGING
9:51
Breeton Boi is british though
Lmao not even 24hrs ago nice :>
