They could make ten more Silver Scream albums and I would never be tired of it.
Spencer is so legit. You almost never hear of bands in the scene that are actual fans of their contemporaries. Dude grinded for years outside of Warped Tour before he got to officially play it, I actually met him before I became a fan (can’t remember what year,) but he was having people who were waiting in line to get in check out his music. Dude is just one of us, but also happens to be in one of the biggest bands in the scene.
Do you like Ice Nine Kills?
@Samuel Höysniemi Their early work was a little bit too scene for me...
@@susshexe7987 But when The Silver Scream came out I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically
hey Paul
Eric, hello, as my lawyer, you know
@@Chernobyl.. The whole album has a refined melodic sensibility that really makes it..a cut above the rest.
1. Premonition (Final Destination)
2. Toys R Us (Cabin In The Woods)
3. B Eat N U (Jeepers Creeper)
4. Silence Of The Worm (Tremors)
5. Glass Puzzle Hotel (13 Ghosts)
6. A Friend Or Foe Like Me (Wishmaster)
7. A Bigger Boat Didn’t Help (Deep Rising)
8. Parody Of The Night (Scary Movie)
9. Wax In Your Ears? (House Of Wax)
10. Be Kind, Rewind (The Ring)
11. The Worst Case Of Chest Pains (Aliens)
12. Open Season (Predator)
13. Not All Fun And Games (Truth Or Dare)
I like the alien idea.
Like "i have this pain in my chest, its bursting out and killing the rest"
Song practically writes itself lol
@@inuianYeah I like that or. I need to confess this pain in my chest. It's bursting out and killing the rest
@Dick Solid 76 im just imagining a joke version of your number's up for scary movie lmao
Change the Final Destination one to "Premonition"
@@Luissv72 you know what I like that better
I’m honestly so happy I got to meet this man back in march. He is so sweet and genuinely cares about all of his fans and how he got to where he is! He appreciates us and his peers! Plus their music is amazing! Love these guys! 🥰❤️
I hope eventually INK does more songs inspired by horror games, just imagine a song based of The Evil Within or Amnesia.
Rainy Day..?!.!..!?
also Silent Hill and maybe Outlast as well :D
Rainy day is resident evil not the evil within
@@Exo__Stranger misread
@@Exo__Stranger they edited it bro
i recently got into ice nine kills via a friend of mine who's also a fan, their discography (both old and new) is excellent and i'm excited to hear whatever they have next in store! i've also been streaming welcome to horrorwood practically nonstop for the past month it's definitely my current favorite album from them :D
Super happy to hear that Spencer has that many in his list!
Guess Spencer took the Silence of the Lambs suggestion to heart.
Spencer is such an awesome guy! So glad I got to meet him at Steel City Con and I'm super excited for Silver Scream 3! 🖤
I somehow somehow totally missed these guys during my metalcore days, but how?? Apparently they had no traction till like 2018 when I wasnt really following this music anymore. I caught a little bit of them live during whenwewereyoung while me and my gf were eating and holy shit they are super talented.
Check them out because YOU ARE MISSING OUT
Seen them 4 times they’re amazing
The fact Spencer called out Acceptance filled my heart. So happy to see him give them some much deserved credit. Definitely underrated.
Me. Too. I grew up in Seattle and went to every one of their shows for so long. Still one of my favorites.
i love the silver scream albums but i think my favorite album by ink is actually every trick in the book
I think I agree with you that it's their "best" but I still can't listen to it on repeat because it has so much tragedy. Like half the songs are sad as fuck and good enough you feel it every time
Very good interview. This is the most calm I've seen Spencer usually he is hyper.I'm very excited to see if they do a Silver Scream PT. 3? 🤞🏻 If so maybe they can can make the CD packaging a 3D cover with 3D glasses...
Yes ! Also I'd love to see Corey Taylor feature on a track for sliver scream 3D
Omg Silver Scream 3D would be such a sick title/concept for the album.
@@artofkillz I wouldn’t look past it, he featured on a FIR song a few years back and they just had INK on knotfest
It'd be a total money grab but it'd be cool if they did like a collector's edition with some extra stuff of all 3 silver screams and sell it as like a box set cause you know a 3rd one is coming
@@blakematthews9694 Definitely getting a 3rd one because they is still alot of horror/slasher movies that would be great for songs.I hope they can make so far for The Lost Boys/Fright Night(really just a Vampire song even though they made BloodBath & Beyond),Alien/Predator,The Strangers,Misery,Return of the Living Dead,Cabin in The Woods,Leprechaun, Maximum Overdrive,Joy Ride,When. A Stranger Calls & a bunch of others...Maybe even Some more modern stuff like You're Next,Get Out,Or Happy Death Day could be sick as well.Let me know some movies that you would want them to make into a song down below 👇👇👇👇👇
It is the best album! I’m obsessed. Don’t know how they’ll top it
That is actually scary to think how they will do that
seeing them and MIW at WWWY was an amazing experience and definitely memories of a lifetime
Never been this early for an interview video. Love INK and Spencer Charnas. Regardless of what the theme of the next album will be I'm super excited!
Saw them live last November on the hip to be scared tour.. such an amazing show man lol.
Yes!🤘🤘🔥🔥
We need an INK Movie or TV Series based on the music video scripts they've done for SS I & II.
They could do original horror for an album if they really want to keep going. It was the silver scream 1 that exposed me to the band
Yessss
I hope they make a song on Nosferatu someday. The OG creepy black and white one
We need another SilverScream!
sounds like we're getting 2-3 more. XD 30 films, wow.
I hope The Fog and The Thing are on those lists. Especially The Fog, that would especially make a kick ass song
@@ChrisMovieMisfit Hoping Cujo gets a song, I got a name in my mind. "Ruff Day"
@@REHSWARGT That's a great title. I think for The Fog I would go "Something In The Fog" or something along those lines lol
@@ChrisMovieMisfit Jump into the fog.
I want to see Danni Filthy from Cradle of filth do a song with INK it would he amazing
i hope INK also does more Horror Game tracks, Rainy Day was great and there are more games than just RE that could fit their style, tracks like "Silence upon the Hills" came to my mind immediately, which would be a reference to Silent Hill.
Frequently Under Cosmic Karma (Dead Space)
lol i see what you did there.@@benharrison7485
Awesome that Spencer gave Acceptance a shout-out. Phantoms (2005) is truly underrated but simultaneously influential for other bands.
Glad ive been listening since the atart. Theyve grown so much andim proud
I swear if we don’t get a Killer Klowns song I’m gonna do a “Hey Paul”.
God Bayside and Ice Nine Kills HAS to happen now...
Id love to see Spencer tackle a song to Re-Animator.
THE SILVER SCREAM 3?????😱😱😱
O god... I would LOVE a "return of the living dead" song
Ummm hey Spencer I was at the Livestream event in Hollywood I'm the guy to get your autograph first I was wondering why can't I watch the video from the event I would love for you to answer
At around 6:42 does anyone hear Black Veil Brides playing their song, "Scarlet Cross" in the background
If there was a new album being created I hope it'll be about video games!
My biggest Mistake was to wait with buying INK Vinyls til i had a good record player. They blew up and shot got crazy hard to find xD
Wait what the sliver screen 3?!?
That’s what I’m hearing the news on the street is.
@@SunRayz3r dude if we do get a sliver scream 3 I will riot
We need a silent hill song
Silver Scream 1 is hands down INKs best album, Horrorwood was great but it felt a little pushed to me. I was jamming SS1 and it flew under the radar for 2 years before anyone really took notice and then it blew up and then Horrorwood kinda was pushed. I love older INK, The Burning was the first album I heard in 2009 and The Predator Becomes The Prey was an amazing album that I jammed constantly for while. My opinion is that they should do their own story line kinda how the music videos for SS & Horrorwood, they made classic horror movies into their own story line keeping it original, I think a fresh take would be to get back to there own stories and concept for an album. IMO. However either way I’m proud of their success they’ve been grinding for far too long, so they deserve everything they got plus more!
I wouldn’t say 2 was pushed but it felt like the songs were more above average across the board with no real bad songs. 1, however, had amazing songs with a few steps down for songs. Scream 1 hit harder, especially on the first 3 songs on the record. You can’t beat those 3 stacked up anywhere on the 2 Scream albums. But I was still glad to get Scream 2 and support the lads and I thoroughly enjoyed 2... just not as much as 1. I found about 1 almost 3 months after they released from an old high school friend and he was convinced it was the best shit he’s heard in years. Now I’m obsessed with 2 S2 records, a CD for both albums and vinyl for S1. That shit was hard as hell to find and expensive.
Fuck you for playing take your pick this past weekend at When We Were Young and not the weekend before when I was there. Lmao but honestly i fucling love you guys and you're all soooo fuckong good live. For real though next michigan show please play Take Your Pick and Enjoy Your Slay.
They would need corpse grinder for that. So maybe not the best chance
Imma need a Scream song plz
Already did that
Your number's up
If they make a song based of Silent Hill.I hope it's based of the second game in the series Silent Hill 2,and the song could be named Restless Dreams.
Rosemarys baby would be a great one
Being thumbs up number 666 seems appropriate
🤣♥️
CONJURING SONG WHEN
They should film a video at the actual Conjuring house
@@ShadowMorph608 would be so epic
Thrn why were all these people on tiktok complaining it was canceled? I'm lost
It was a 3 day festival. First day got cancelled (Saturday,) Sunday went on without a hitch and then the following Saturday went on as well.
@@ZiggyValentine Which they couldn't control the first day going wrong. It started storming.
@@UndeadAhead Did you just say it started storming... in Las Vegas... which is in a desert....
@@jasonhook3884 Not storming, I mean windy.
Knock their blocks off (Killer Klowns from Outer Space)
I don't think they can really do one for Killer Klowns considering that ALREADY has a theme song.
Silver Scream part 3 should be about sequels.
I could honestly give two shits if they stop doing SS albums, as long as they keep the sound of the SS albums. Obviously the film inspired lyrics are cool, but ignoring the lyrics I believe that MUSICALLY SS 1 & 2 are also the best material in their discography.
Honestly, I don't want another Silver Scream. I'd much rather they do something different. Maybe an Every Trick in the Book 2, or even a gaming album, they a song for PUBG, call it Game Over or something.
Hunting Season is a name of PUBG song. It was awesome btw ^^
I love both silver scream albums to death. But honesty I hope they come up with different ideas and make a new album with a story and not just follow with another silver scream.
i would like at least one more silver scream so we have a complete trilogy. after that, maybe something new
I would happily take three more Silver Scream albums. DIfferent ideas? Like they blew up on this so it's not going to go away ever
I dig both Silver Screams, but definitely prefer the older stuff. I think they should wait 10-15 years and then have a Silver Scream 3.
Really hoping for a return to a normal album instead of movie based
@Lil Dom Official yeah that would be cool, but I want to see what the conclusion to this story is first haha. I'm super into the movies.
I completely understand that but I’d like one final album in the horror movie theme to finish it off. Everyone knows the best horrors come in a trilogy
More like when we were safe
It'd be even nicer if the tickets weren't an absolute fuckin rip off.
I really want a song about Dead Silence
