  • Correction to the narration: we use the two-factor ANOVA with replication because there are four REPLICATES of each treatment (four control, four experimental).

    If we were to calculate standard deviation instead of standard error, the formula would be =sqrt(Variance), right?

    When I perform the two way ANOVA, I get an answer of #DIV/0! for all of my variances and therefore cannot calculate the standard error. Do you know why this might occur and how I can fix it?

    Hello miss,
    I will like to know if the replicates amongst the treatment (control and experimental) can be unbalanced ? Is-it still possible to do a "two-factor ANOVA with replication" for this type?

    • @amydykstra
      @amydykstra  Před 2 lety

      As far as I know, Excel does not have a plug-and-play option if your data are unbalanced. You may need another statistical program, such as SPSS or R.

    what if there are four treatments is it applicable to use two factor ANOVA ? plz answer me

    • @amydykstra
      @amydykstra  Před 2 lety

      Yes, you can use a 2-factor ANOVA if you have four treatments. You can perform the ANOVA in Excel as long as the number of replicates in each treatment is the same.
