Been working on the tune for my former long range rig turned fast cruise chase quad. All of these planes push my 7” remix hard and result in short flight times or just pure inability to stay close… the FW Ta still walks on me but it’s modded so Pete was nice enough to stay off the throttle for all but the initial pass.
The 2812 1300 kv with an 8x5 bi blade makes cruising around 50-60 mph effortless.... just working on smoothing out the PIDS and filters but so far shes doing good. This is running a 6s HRB 3300 which is a little lighter of a pack than normal but since the PIDS are turned down I wanted to retain some nimble mobility by decreasing overall weight.

Damn fine flying (per usual)... I wonder if that close call could have resulted in a Ded-r Baron or quite a fall on your end. Glad we didn't find out!

lol thank you 🙏. The added weight of the 8” kind of made for some cyclical chasing with all that momentum. Think it’ll be a good rig.
If we had hit I’m sure you woulda fared better than me lol

Which frame are you flying the pyro drone floss?

Yep, with 8” arms, cut pretty thick but still the frame has some noise.
