Serbian Traditional SPIRIT, RAKIA

Rakia is a traditional Serbian alcoholic drink made from the distillation of fermented fruit.
It is a clear-as-water kind of drink, with a percentage of alcohol that can range from approximately 40% to 65%.
Rakia can be made from plum, apple, peach, apricot, grapes, and other fruits.
After crushing the apples were fermenting in containers about 30 days and after the distillation process, this homemade apple rakia is about 50% of alcohol.

Всё таки лучше делать и вторую перегонку. Аромат пусть будет слабее, зато можно будет больше выпить и мягче пьётся,да и голова не будет болеть🥃😉

Согласен. Но я ленюсь и делаю одну перегонку, но с отбором, вроде говорят что это сырец, но всеравно напиток хороший

Лепят на продажу , даже вёдра от краски применяют я бы не стал эту "шляпу" пить ....

В яблоках много пиктина. Если не фильтровать затор перед постановкой на брожение, то при брожении с яблочной мезгой образуется много метилового спирта.
Не буду думать, что дистиллятом кто то отравится, но опьянение и похмелье будет тяжелым.

там один перегон, по-любому куча примесей идёт и головная боль :)) зато напиток должен быть ароматным... в бочку на 3-5 лет норм будет...

It's for the fermented fruit husk not to get burn from the fire at the bottom of the pot. There are two main types of home brandy pots on sale in Serbia, with a stirrer like you see in this video, which is usually slightly more expensive, and the other type with some kind of sieve at the bottom of the pot that prevents fruit husk to get burn from the fire.
When you work with a pot without a stirrer you have to be very careful with fire, because you can easily burn fruit husk and your brandy will have a bad taste. The most important item regarding the quality of the home brandy pot is how thick the bottom of the pot is, to keep it simple, the thicker the bottom the better, the pot must be made of copper with over 99,9% purity.

В России применяется с двойным контуром, в первом контуре кипит вода, никогда не подгорит, но это дорогая штука.
