Can you explain the bit where it cuts to GMB, I don't quite understand it.

DannyBaby1512 Weekend promotes what's coming on GMB on Monday. Friday's presenters pre-record it. I've explained all the details on my post on TV Forum. :)

etv STUDIOS Hi, I was going to leave some comments on TV Forum but I've just registered and am awaiting approval. Sorry that this is such a long comment but it literally covers EVERYTHING!I'll go through things as they appear in the video.
      - I like the use of the Daybreak music (I'm using a similar track in my WakeUpUK Mock), it's a bit lighter than the GMB music which I feel fits with the easy going Weekend sort of theme.
      - I like the studio design and the idea of the presenter layout seems to work in my opinion, I think that a sofa or interview area (maybe similar to that of the current Weekend show) needs to be added and the performance area tidied up. My question is, (if this actually did get used irl) do you think they would be able to use the GMB studio? Maybe by simply moving bits of set they could save some money. For example: The GMB sofa could be moved and the Weekend Desk put in place, the GMB desk moved and the Weekend sofa area put in place. Maybe have a versatile set where the back panels can flip around to give a slightly different look but it would save money in the long run and mean that they didn't need another studio for just one day of the week.
      - The ticker is nice but I'm not keen on the straps for the Headlines etc. I would prefer if the strap used for the presenters names was the one used for the headlines, just to keep the brand's colour scheme more dominant and keep the lighter/bright blue running throughout.
      - I think the use of the ITV News colour for the transition to the news (1:16) is good to make the ITV brand more uniform.
      - Not sure on the regional idea, I don't really think like it would work having the anchor talking about one thing and the ticker saying something else, don't really think the regional news needs to be a part of it. Also the weather for the local news is very obviously "copied" from GMB and if a weather bug was to be added there would need to be a new one created for Weekend.
Just some other points:- The website design is good, it doesn't look like it took long but it really looks great and you haven't ignored the ITV Website Design which is a MASSIVE bonus!
      - I think that Sport and Entertainment could play a part in Weekend. Sport could be good because the majority of sporting events take place at a weekend and fixture updates or pre-game previews could slot in nicely. Entertainment because the channels always show their "best program" in the prime time 7pm-10pm slots on a Saturday meaning that previews of programs or interviews could also work.
      - I also wouldn't mind seeing a "lighter section" in the 9am-9:25am slot of the show, maybe a cooking section. People are normally less busy on Weekends so something they could try might be could.
Also I feel like this should maybe be called Good Morning Britain Weekend to bring everything together. Maybe a rebrand of the graphics is required for Good Morning Britain to make these shows look more connected rather than being totally separate. If you look at all of the USA breakfast shows (eg. NBC Today, CBS This Morning, CNN New Day), they all run 7 days a week so maybe some relation to the GMB logo or a graphic package that runs through GMB and Weekend would be good.
Sorry for the essay, please let me know what you think of my ideas!-Daniel

DannyBaby1512 I don't think using the GMB set would work. Thanks for all of your comments. I'd prefer Good Morning Britain to run 7 days, but if that can't happen, I'd prefer to have Weekend on. GMB Weekend would sound a bit odd.
