Thanks for the very informative video. I have the same display on my ebike. I programed the display so I could use the throttle but would rather just peddle. I now have the problem of the motor kicking in and out all the time this has only happened since I programed the throttle. I can't get the bike back to full time peddle assist. Any ideas how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Tim

What exactly does the magnets do? My particular ebike model is set for 1 can I bump that up to get more speed or should I leave it the way it is?

Almost everything is locked on my S380, is there a way to unlock it.
Holding down the down button for a few sec puts it in walk mode.
To go into cruise mode twist throttle to required speed and then hold down the down button.
Cruise control process didn't work for my max cargo eunorau ebike...

So I have the s830 display. So after I got done swapping my wheels my front to the back my back to the front. When I was done I flipped it around connected everything. Turned it on everything started to work except my MPH reading isn't working now everything else works but that . Would know how I can fix that
so, where to buy this new sw900 for 35a?

Wonder if someone can help me understand what happened to my SW900 LCD display. It now shows what looks close to "bn3.6" when I first give the display power but is not on. Then When I turn it off via the M button it simply says "OFF" but does not turn off. I left it for 5+ minutes and it was still on displaying OFF. I have to now turn off the battery to get the LCD to turn off.
Does this work with GOTRAX bikes?

After trying to set everyhting, the battery dsiplay is showing empty and flashing but I know for a fact it's fully charged. The bike won't move now. And the display is stuck, I can't scroll thru options . Is it faulty, an I wasdting my time?

That setting at 47 when do you set it to that i have a 350w motor. I camt get my speedometer to read accurately and pedal assist mode lags greatly. Activating and deactivating.

My s830 has an issues of company block all these setting i am not able to move any of those. I don't know it's the display meter fault or the company did it
I've got an E10 error. The bike works but the speed doesn't display.
My ebike is Movelo Electric Bike 36V 10AH 350W, the display only has settings P01, P02, ODO. Is there any other way to get all of the other settings? Help will greatly be appreciated. Please and thank you.
great information, thanks so much for this as its very difficult to find information, I was getting Error Code 8 due to the P-10 being set to 1, also the P-13 was set to 8 when I only had a 5 magnet PAS ring. Cheers Colin

I have a gotrax ebe2 ebike that has a 350 watt motor on it. its factory default setting is set to P8-100. on 100 the bike only reaches top speed of 20mph. if i set p8 to 50 will the bike go faster than the 20mph cap? and maybe hit 28mph?
watch what your max ah current from controller can handle, put p14 on there, and but the right volt in what battery you have.

It's skipped over in this user manual too (electricbikereview.com/forums/attachments/1528492757374_enoeco-user-manual-cs-s830-pdf.22814/). I've heard it refers to pedal assist sensitivity with a range of 1-24, but I don't really know what that means tbh. Default is 2.
The higher the number the lowertthe intialassistkicks in. Set it at 1 for maximum or a bit higher for more delay.

I bought samebike lo26 500w and the max speed setting was already set to 100 but the max speed is 25km/h. Changing the value to anything does not change the max speed. Is it locked?

I have an SW900 on my bike, it broke so I bought an S830 to replace it, but it doesn't work as expected. It turns off while pedaling. Unfortunately the SW900 does not show all the information, example P07 does not show! From P06 it goes straight to P08. Can you give a tip?

When I set p07 to 47 my mph and trip is way off..my GPS say I'm going 19mph and the LCD screen is showing 35mph..when I changed it to 1 the mph is way much better so on my kit I believe it's 1 and not 47..

Im new to ebikes and please tell me can i replace a broken s700 lcd display with a s830? I have a gogobest and No matter where i look i cant seem to find anything telling me if my bike would be compatible with anything else. I would assume it would but im scared to buy the wrong on considering the prices

I recently purchased a Voilamart 1500w 48v kit that includes the SW-900 LCD.
It sits in a box until I can budget a battery pack and the remaining pieces that I
need to convert one of my bicycles. Since my purchase, I've been led by many
that have made the Voilamart conversion, to believe that the PAS on the kit does
not work and only gives full throttle no matter how slow the cranks are turned.
Since learning this I thought that I may have to rely on throttle only for more precise
motor control, but now after watching this video, I wonder if some of these settings
discussed might make the PAS usable on the Voilamart kits?
My first Voilamart kit didn't have a display and it did want to go at full power, to be expected when the controller has no display to program it I guess. I would change the settings to the lowest and go from there.
Most important ! cover the display if there's any chance you might get caught in rain. The black plastic case itself seems watertight but the perspex screen has no protection, I had an inch of water in there ( it still worked but a week later it died ).

Just answering for future readers. PAS levels only set a speed (ie... PAS 1 may give 11mph, and PAS 2 gives 13mph...etc. ). It is not a TORQUE sensor which would give power to the motor based on the amount of power you are pedalling. So when you pedal in PAS 1 the controller tries to take you to 11mph regardless of how hard or easy you are pedalling. That's what PAS does.

i dont think so, but now i am not sure anymore after i seen this video, i think its p10 for both trottle and paddle assist. p9 i s just how it start up, 0 non start with trottle and 1 with trottle.
When I press the + and - keys together, the screen says "C" and I have 5 zeros below ... I can't access the Programming Modes. Do I need a Pin Code here?
turn it on, and staight after it on + and - for 2 sec then you get in the menu.
Can you set the speed for cruise control on the s830
No it's locked in at 6 mph
Viewing another reply . If you hold the down button it sets the bike in walk assist mode. To set cruise mode. You throttle to desired speed and then hold the down button. I have not tested it yet.

It should already be set, just hold down the down arrow key for 4 to 5 seconds

@@CarsandCoding hi; I had the same problem and I’m going to take a guess as I’m on my 4th new battery now. Ok so what I believe is happening is your battery is coming to the end of its recharge life cycle, so when it gives you an 100% percentage is because your battery voltage is lagging on full charge so this creates a error in the battery reading; I know this for sure as it happened to me back in 2019 and this year 2022 just about 20 charge cycles before both my batteries died, so I’m just guessing the display shows an error on the battery percentage bar due to low voltage charge levels when battery is operating only at 80% efficiently so after full charge let’s say a 48 volt battery should be 54.60 fully if it’s charging to 100% efficiency but when only 80% due to end of life you get error reading on the bar, hope this helps

My battery when fully charged will say 100% for several days but the power drains more and more each time I'm using it from like 92% down to 10%. Slowly goes down from 100 after I start hitting the 60% range while using the throttle. In other words it's designed to say 100 even if it's not technically.
For your "voltage collapse", which I'm assuming you mean low voltage cutoff, it should be at 40 volts not 48! 48v is the nominal voltage of the li-ion battery pack, made up of 3.7v cells in banks in series to get that 48v. If you look at a li-ion cell when fully charged they are at 4.2v after a little over half used they are 3.7. There is still half of the battery left until it gets to its discharged voltage of 2.8. Maybe if you wanted to preserve the battery or have a huge reserve or something to save %50+ of the battery capacity. Hey, if you want to do that more power to you....literally. But it's not getting to the wheel.
How to stop low voltage cutoff
@@HONOROFCOURSE Don't go that low. The low voltage cutoff is to protect the battery. It's always good to give yourself a little safety of error. Trust me once the voltage gets down to that level you'll be going 10mph..maybe. You'll want to charge the battery. It's regulated by the controller and BMS module. You don't want to damage the battery. You are doing just fine.
