    All of my vehicles run the best reliability / power combination I can afford at the time running on 91. I like driving my cars to places. I can always find 91 everywhere I can go, with no extra hassle. If that isn't your priority... there's nothing wrong with that. Do what makes you happy. I've gotten to the point that where I'm fairly content. Instead of eking every last drop of performance from a car to be happy, it may be a better idea to move up to a new car. I realize there's always a faster car. But I do respect the mechanical/ engineering mindset of seeing what you can do. I'd just prefer to go to the track and try to improve the human aspect of performance that way.

    I usually put in 4 gallons e85 on my 13 focus st stage 3 e30 tuned step one colder plugs with 93 topped off . My tuner said since I have 3 inch exhaust with cat less down pipe I run 20.5 pounds of boost because my turbo didn’t have to work as hard to hit the target load .. I tested the e85 and it’s legit true number so my tuner said 4 gallons is safe ..

  • @jackmmarsden

    • @skatecamdude37
      @skatecamdude37 Před 5 lety +7

      E30 offers extra power on stock car for just the cost of a tune or in his case the tune and AP. Methanol injection requires extra hardware to get relatively the same power output. E30 is also its own fail safe because you cant run out mid-drive since its your fuel and not an additive.

I run E40 but as power goes up and you aren't on the stock turbo anymore it's not viable. My car does 13.1@102 full weight on slicks

    want a true test to feel any differences?
    Have the owner load a tune before each set of pulls (maybe do 3 pulls on each tune).
    Maybe sometimes he wont even switch tunes..but you think he did.
    The owner wont tell you which pull had which tune.
    Match the ACTUAL E30 tunes with the 'it feels faster' tunes and see how accurate it is vs a 'butt dyno feel'.
    I've heard it is a noticeable difference going E30...but any time you KNOW you've made a modification, hell it could be a "New Car" scented air freshener, the car FEELS faster in your head lol

      Stewart Rolen freektune is just a better option , justin at freek has more than proven hes a great tunner . He currently holds the record for fastes 1/4 mile on his speed 3

      What makes you think freektune "is just a better option"? Both tuners are great and have proven they are great, don't put another company down just because in your opinion one is better. I run stratified and will stay that way, but don't have anything against freek, he is great but I love my strat tune.

      martinez You would be happy to know that freektune can also do the cracks and pops, just found that out yesterday from a thread freektune responded to.

    Dumb question but can you still fill up 93 with a e30 tune?

    • @KoriginalST
      @KoriginalST  Před 7 lety +1

      +Joshua Cao not dumb dude. So he actually has a 91/e30 tune so his car actually knows what gas is in the car at any given time so he can run either whenever he wants. And as for 93 it is the same. If you get the right tune you can run either or just as well

    • @charlescruz7199
      @charlescruz7199 Před 6 lety

      You will need a tune for e30. Once you got a tune for e30, you can always switch back to 91/93 tune okn your map slot.. does not have e30 yet, but i heard that's how they do it

      @ryansteinbach Před 6 lety

      No i dont think they ran the car with the e30 tune they can run 91 by itself with an e30/91 tune

    • @kshas3
      @kshas3 Před 6 lety

      He installed a combo tune which means he can shift tunes on the fly. He was fine.

    • @kshas3
      @kshas3 Před 6 lety

      Charles Cruz - Yes, stratified allows you to have up to 5 fuel type tunes in a single slot.
