His 19th birthday was Sep 4th. If he had started K on time, he would now be a So. in college. When I saw him play his HS championship on ESPN back in March, I saw a player who would have been the difference, on last year's UNC team, for making the NCAAT.
@@thestylemind4922 i suspect it was difficult in the earlier grade school years. kids b/w 5-16 grow a lot every few months and if most classmates are ~6 months older, that kid is going to be smaller. in reverse, i had a classmate who was held back and about 6 months older than most. all thru elem and jr high, he was one of the bigger kids but by HS, he was one of the smaller kids. everyone caught up and surpassed his size.

Injuries caught up after playing college ball one year. Thinking back, was always playing catch up but didn’t know why. Now as an adult whenever I hear about these High School Phenoms, I always peep the birth certificates. It tells you everything.

He hasn’t reached his physical peak yet like the “grown man” in high school.

that was highly disappointing. wilcher had been a commit for almost 2 years when he had changed his mind at the 11th hour. many of us wasted time keeping up with him in HS after he committed to the Heels a couple years ago. the summer before, we had GG decommit at the 11th hour but he had only committed a couple months prior. That ended up hurting more later on as he may have been the difference in last season making the NCAAT.
He was smart for going somewhere he can sell himself. After watching this it was a smart move. Elliot is not giving up that ball much. Both of them are scoring guards. And both of them around the same size. It makes no sense at all. One of them would have been benched. When they both can start right away. Simeon played on the toughest circuits. Saying he ducked smoke just sound cool.
Because the other team could run the clock down and then have a chance to score. By fouling them they are only given 2 free throws which can give the losing side a chance to tie it for overtime or sink a 3 for the win

Right. He’s older than his class. I was 17 my freshman year of college. September birthday. Still bitter about that to this day.
