I purchased one that was listed as "acceptable condition" and was a little worried about what it would look like. However, I am pleased with its condition. The back has some scuffs and a small dent near the logo. There are a few tiny marks at the bottom of the front of the ipad but the condition of the screen is perfect. There are no scratches or anything. I was able to set it up, use it, and it charges fine. I'm hoping it continues to work well for me. So far it was worth the purchase. Also shipping was fast. The item came one day earlier than expected
Struggled with this. As much as I tried I kept getting stuck at sending RamDIsk. Eventually, this would time out with an error. Please can you share the manifest file or the full IPWS image?
after 3% it stucks: ERROR: BulidManifest.plist error, firmware could be damaged. I tried to update from 9.3.6 to 12.7. The new ApChipID is 2 times 0x7000 and 0x7001 - the old version just has two ApChipIDs. Might that be the problem?

I don't believe this could work otherwise he already shared his BuildManifest on his video description. I believe that is the reason why there is a lot of missing steps because he himself couldn't make it to work.

Did anyone tried to install all version of iOS 10.0 to iOS 10.3.4 for iOS 9? I needed to know for sure about which iOS 10 version are functional on iPad 2. That's only I wanted to know so I can run only 32 bit apps. Last time flipaclip app worked but it has few bugs. Also I'm trying to download 10.0.2 on iPad 2. its only has some serious issues. Such as SHSH error.

tried doing this on my ipad mini (wifi) to ios16 and there are so many things missing like BuildID number and there are multiple ApchipIDs. there are also multiple and different Device classes so how am i suppsoed to know which to copy when there are more in the new ios then the old one? :/
he just update it with outdated version again ( off camera) so it looked like update is progressing, then he used jailbrake tools to edit youtube version to newer one so he can use it (not stable at all) thats pretty easy

This Tutorial is very strange even for tech-specialists ^^ there are many same id's at different locations in the manifest. its also mentioned to copy the firmware and the restore file from old fw folder to the new one but some times later in the video also the "kernelcache" file has been copied.

Question: There are several places with the id in the BuilderManifest.
When you write change all text id. "Video Captions"
Do we have to change all areas where the same id # is?
"by going Find Next, Change, Find Next Change.. etc... or just change the places you show in the video ?
Example: ApChipID. Line 11, 2398, 4856, etc..

I don't know how this is supposed to work when there are many code lines in my OLD BuildManifest file that have IDs that certainly need updated IDs, but the NEW manifest doesn't even have the matching lines :( So this wouldn't work on my IPad Mini 2. Basically trying to update from 12.5.5 to 15 (whatever) has to have the exact same manifest code lines and you are trying to "fool" the update to install a new image/OS, but it's kind of like trying to put a truck engine into a motorcycle.

Hi I did exactly what you told on the video. what I have to do but afterwards he says error and he stops at 3%. I also looked further and it turns out that what you say is not possible at all. software written in 64-bit cannot be run on 32-bit. So the question is how do you do that. so i tried ipad 4 wifi ios 10.3 3 update to ipad 5 wifi ios 15. so if u have any other trick for this i would like to know.

it says the filmware does not match and i have the exact same ipad like you're ipad and some how i see in the new folder that you have a film ware and im confused where did you get that filmware from? the old IOS or from the new IOS?
use the 3utools to download the firmware that matches that device, then do the manifest file editing.

i tried to update from 9.3.6 on ipad 3 to ios 15 , in new ios manifest file there are multiple ApSecurityDomain strings with different string in each line , but in old one there is only 2 ApSecurityDomain strings and there's not such BuildIdNumber in none of them , i tried the BuildId , again there are multiple strings with same name in new one , after replacing all and finishing as you told in video i tried update but 3u says : the update file is damaged , any help ?
I have the same when trying to update IPAD 2 (9.3.5) to IPAD 4 (10.3.4) and said bad manifest file even though I changed all the strings.
@@granthampson5917 after lots of research i found out that it is impossible , even with jailbreak , try updating through apple's beta program (google it) i hope it work for you , i couldnt do it cause i am from a restricted country

I have an iPad mini 2, and want to upgrade it to iOS15, but think it probably will not work as I noticed iPad mini 4's IPSW has a TouchID wording. I think the iOS15 firmware is expecting Touch ID hardware and will not work without it.
