    Very informative, thanx for sharing. I only have one question. Is corn stalk also rich in protein?

    • @piosian4196
      @piosian4196 Před 2 lety

      Corn stalk has 9% Digestible protein and another 12% crude protein locked in cellulose. Cellulose is broken by SILAGE, That is putting the corn stalks and stovers in airtight containers for some time (About 2 weeks). That will give time enough to release the protein from cellulose bound and double your source of protein. Consider planting peanuts and peanut hay is an excellent feed. Do not rely on one feedstuff alone. If the nuts are good they can be sold as people food. White copra can be added, a handfull of dolomitic lime (Apog) and a little sea weed can fill the vital micronutrients, Trace elements.
