I am very happy with *rrcopys* 's bag, arrived on time and exceeded my expectations! Need a stylish little backpack to go to theme parks with my kids. I'm not a backpack person and usually carry a purse with me, but I wanted something that was easier to carry and less carried over the shoulder. I bought the smaller size, but it holds 2 water bottles, snacks, a couple of light sweaters, and a bunch of other small things. I like that the opening is in the back, great for travel.

I inherited a “GUCCI” handbag. It is vintage with braided leather straps and everything looks authentic except the label is fully sewn with beautifully angled stitching all the way around so I don’t see a serial number anywhere unless it’s under the stitching. The lining is a nice black material with GUCCI embossed all over…it looks luxurious. I sure wish I could show it to someone who knows. It has a horse bit as well. Is there a website to view all the bags Gucci made? How can I get this looked at? I’m in Ontario Canada

The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. I wanted to know which designer bag was truly worth my hard-earned money and one that I would get the most out of. The best way to get a real bag is to buy from Gucci.com or a flag Gucci store, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus , Nordstrom, or other high end sellers , brand new... if you buy from, second party resale places, ask for receipts of sales, if possible,.. Some fakes are so close to the original now just looking at it or saying it feels expensive, or it shines is just not the best way to authenticate a luxury bag.
My 15 years gucci bag just like this, the leather now fades, like going flakes, so it means i bought a fake one?

I get that some people will pay $$$$$$$$ of dollars on a bag but i'm so sick of hearing how to tell if your bag is real or fake omg like really I would rather have a nice replica then a real thing like someone really going to walk up to you and be like ''FAKE'' yea right.
It's helpful tho because there are people who scams other people saying that what they're selling is authentic and sells it at a high price. So of the person who will buy it doesn't know how to tell what's real or fake they might be scammed.
I found a Gucci bag without a tag but the lining is marked with Gucci all over it. I researched the internet which indicated the earlier 1960's bag were made without a tag or serial numbers. Is this true. The letting which are on the front of the bag looks authentic. Can I send you a pic?

We have the same situation, quality is there, bag meets the description in this video as to quality. Has Leather Gucci Tag on on the outside, left side of U is larger and there is a Gucci tag on the inside, both tags have made in Italy yet no serial number. I dont believe older Gucci's had serial numbers as they wernt seling bags from anywheres from $900-$30,000 back 50 years ago, So its a hassl not having a tag, so how does one authenticate????

what to use, to clean an authentic gucci bag
I have found a gorgeous Gucci bag. it is black leather9"x11"x3" with two side pockets and a coin pocket, but the most stunning thing is that it is lined with red calf skin leather. It has a nine digit serial number, is it real? does the number indicate anything about the bag, like the name of the style or the year it was produced? who can I give these numbers to...so I can figure out a value?

Please define "perfect", she says perfect so much and then says the stitching will be perfect with a slight angle. (Uhhh)
The other thing is that shr says your bag will have a slight sheen to it. It is going to look and feel expensive. Hmmmm, I don't quite get that either, I don't consider a sheen to remind me of expensive.
I know that these are merely characteristics and descriptive ways to describe the product but seriously my question is "does it look and feel expensive and perfect because that's what it really feels like to you or that is what you think of when you think of the brand name, how much it costs and which social classes it caters to"?
Btw, I actually like Gucci and have a couple items myself so I am not slamming the brand or look. The presentation is what gets me in this video of the over annunciation of perfect and expensive and really for all that, a lack of real pertinent information aside from the obvious here.
Lennox1492 You are correct. Sheen is quite weird to hear, although she made up for it by mentioning texture. Sheen on Gucci monogram canvas is usually associated with a fake Gucci, not unless we are talking of Gucci coated canvas or Gucci crystal canvas which will definitely have a sheen to it (especially the latter)
