You may sound like Yogi Bear, but this video helped out a lot. Thank you.
My 16 year old daughter changed the bulbs on our 2009 Silverado after watching your video... we thank you
glad to hear it helped, thanks for the comment
Thanks for the help , got done in about 10 minutes ! It sure beats all the other BS I saw on youtube !
Thank you so much! I have now used your video for bulbs on both sides. Even a girl can do it!
Bro other people did so much bs to change them and I only needed my driver side changed. 1 minute In and I started changing it and had a new bulb in by the time the video was over. Thanks homie
Great instructional video. Passenger side bulb successfully changed. Being a 2007 model year (now 16 yrs old) the bottom part of the airbox took a little elbow grease to jar it loose. Thank you 'thatoneguyfrom87'. Well done.
Awesome video. Proves you don't need to remove the shroud and grill to replace only the bulb. Thank You. Saved me a lot of time!
SUPER VIDEO!!!!
Watched a couple other videos......
NONE as good as yours!
Your tip on insuring that the old red gasket comes before attempting to insert the new bulb was a real life saver! Also suggesting that you leave the screws in the air box cover made the job simpler. They remained snug & had no chance of falling out. I used a bungee cord to hold the cover up & out of the way. I wasn't as fast as some viewers, but my 14 minutes was the easiest $100 that I've ever earned...... Thanks to YOU!!
Thank you. I just changed my bulbs with your vid. I'm glad, I didn't want to take the whole front end off !! My 2007 Silverado is the same red.
This was probably the 5th video I watched and the most helpful. Thank you.
Say bruh, you saved me a lot of freaking trouble and money. Thx!
Thank you! Exactly what I needed. Trying to surprise my bf with some LED headlights and couldn’t figure that side out 😅
Thanks for doing this. It's really appreciated. I viewed a couple of other videos that required taking off the shroud and the grill, and other braces and brackets to handle a very simple task.... changing a light bulb. Your video saved me a lot of time and frustration.
Thank you! Saved me $100! You are awesome for helping the folks like me out!
Exactly the same for my 2012 Silverado. No need to go to all the extra effort of removing everything. Pop the lid - unsnap the air filter box - change bulb -reverse steps...took 12 minutes
Thank you for the detailed video. Borrowed a truck from work while my car is in the shop and unfortunately the drivers side headlight was burned out. Following your video I was able to replace it
Hey man. Thanks for the short cuts. The other videos acted like I had to remove the grill. Great video.
Extremely helpful. Thanks for taking the time to explain. WELL DONE.
Thanks for posting this helpful DIY video! I used my small hands to change my boyfriend's bulb on the right side without removing anything! Easy breezy!
Dude, this saved me so much time and effort on my 2011 Silverado! Thanks for posting!
I really appreciate this video. While it is a fairly simple task, the video saved me a lot of time. I was going to go a much more difficult way.
Perfect, thanks so much Brotha, your attention to detail was AMAZINLY Helpful, You rock my friend !!🙏🙏😁😁
Thank you Mr. 87 . I believe that is the very best way to do it.
Yeah Buddy!!!!! You made this look so simple. I wasn't sure if that bottom part of the air box was removable. Thanks for the vid!!!!
Well that was fairly easy. Thanks for the heads up. Check the air filter, top of the antifreeze, change the headlight bulbs. Easy peasy. Thanks again.
Fantastic Video Mr. 87....you saved me from a tremendous headache...You're the best Buddy...Thank You many times over.
thanks, this was helpful. hope all is well
Well explained + cool accent = great video. Thanks, this helped me a lot.
Freaking genius!!! I was stressed the hell out thinking of the pain it is to change it when it went out
Thanks bud, just had to do it for my 08. Another channel was saying I had to a lot more crap but this was easy.
Worked for my 2008 Silverado. Thanks so much!

Great video thank you jar head? Semper Fi brother
Thanks!!!! I watched another video and they just said i didn't have to take the air box off because their hands were small so there's no need. LOL... Got to have some really small ass hands to do that. Thanks again.
+Alex Banks no problem, there was no way I was getting my hand in there either
Thanks
thank you Sir
I love your voice
Good Video Bro
Good vid. It helped
+Bob Gardner Thanks
Could you get to the passenger high beam this way! Great video!
thanks for your video boss that air filter box was a bitch without the right tools but got her done thanks again
Classic case Of tuff tuff syndrome it’s very common in men who thinks there cooler than they actually are omg the voice Change is so noticeable
i have a feeling that this guy changes his voice to try and make it sound lower.....weeeiiirrrd
Lol
Is the low beam bulb h11?
You must have a lot smaller hands than I do. I could barely get the bad bulb out and cannot get the new one in. (Driver's side) I am thinking I will have to move the washer fluid bottle.
thanks bullwinkle
I love my 07 Silverado 2500 it's been on the road now for ten years and it is the finest vehicle I have ever owned. But who was the douche bag engineer that designed an engine compartment like this. Light bulbs burn out it shouldn't be this difficult to change a fucking light bulb!
They do it so you get so frustrated by, what should be, an easy task that you take it to the stealership and pay their labor and parts rates.
A lot of vehicles are designed that way now.
If you changed the signal bulbs, you would have to tear the front out.
I think that the people who designed the truck should be required to change the battery, the exterior lights, and the wipers wearing shirtsleeves while the truck is in an environmental chamber set to "blizzard". Should give them some incentive to make those tasks real easy.
A lot better than tearing out the front of the truck.
Hi! I have a 2011 silverado and all I had to do was pop out the filter box and push it aside. Changed headlamp and discovered it wasn't the headlamp but the connection to the lamp. Crap! So, do you know how to do that yourself? The part is only $8 something but taking it in would be a much bigger expense. I couldn't find another video on you tube that describes fixing that.
Thanks bro!!
Homeboy sounds like mr.Mackey mkay
why didn't you take off all the other shit like the other videos🤣
thanks for the upload it was so much easier
Did you replace the high beam bulbs?
No, I still have the factory bulbs in (or the ones that were in it when I got the truck), they haven't gone out yet but I hardly ever use them
You sound like sling blade...Billy Bob thorton........🌞
Did you make your voice all deep just for the video ? Lol
Simply pull the plastic clamps apart. Said that shit like it was easy
Yeah, I tried doing it, but my fingers are too weak. Asking my brother to come over to get the clips off, lol
sounds like karl malone.
Thanks for the video!
I have an 2011 Silverado and I'm planning on buying those same light bulbs.
How are they? Do they give good lighting at night?
+angeljua801 I have had to replace one several times but they are much brighter and definitely improve night driving. I think I'm getting moisture in one of my fixtures so that may be the cause of it going out on me if not something else. Good luck with them and thanks for the comment.
Stop touching the bulbs with your hands
Wait till one of ya have to change the bulbs on a 2009 Malibu, you have to take the whole front end of the car off.
Do you live in Jellystone Park? Did Boo-Boo help you?
I still think you're smarter than the average bear
IS THATYOUR REAL VOICE!?
I know right! I swear it sounds almost like someone is talking over him but I can still see that its just him. Very strange
think I'll do this for the company truck I'm driving. This is a bitch to fix on the passenger side
beats taking the ENTIRE FRONT off.....
Why you make your voice all deep and weird lol
