- Tanglewood is an affluent neighborhood in western Houston, Texas,[1] located off San Felipe Road.[2]
Tanglewood is located just outside the 610 Loop and inside Beltway 8 in the Uptown Houston area. Tanglewood was developed by the Tanglewood Corporation. Today the neighborhood is managed by the Tanglewood Homes Association. In 1997 Bob Tutt of the Houston Chronicle said that Tanglewood is "a leafy, upscale subdivision".[1] Barbara and George H. W. Bush were longtime Tanglewood residents.

The downtown looks like it’s not too far from the residential area too. TangledWood looks nice. I wouldn’t mind living in an area with a thriving city but as long as it’s not too clustered. Went to Tanglewood grade school before middle school name adopted. My brother went to St. Michaels. My aunt lived near the grade school. Thanks for the tour. You do good work.

Yeah they really have their own personality not like Cookie cutter homes not putting them down that's just the way it is. I really like the wrap around porches those are nice kind of a southern feel to it . Wraparound balcony are nice too.

The homes in this neighborhood looks so nice from the homes to the beautiful trees. I’m also noticing a lot of Range Rover cars too it goes to show you how wealthy the people are in this neighborhood

Houston deals with floods though, and I do believe I read that the car dealers move to all the hi rise parking facilities but I could be wrong
The flooding the mosquitoes everything rusting and the foundation of the house collapsing.
That's a lot to consider if you want to live there
