TD04 wastegate actuator replacement and boost adjustment | Toyota Starlet 4efe turbo build.

Replacing the TD04L actuator for my EP91 Starlet turbo build, pre load discussion (free boost increase) and CT9 hks adjustable actuator setup guide for Glanza and EP82 Starlet gt turbo 4efte. I also cut open the old actuator to see what's inside.

Hey Dan, my td04 also came with the actuator rod coming out on an angle touching the side, is it necessary to centre it?

As long as it doesn't affect the movement of the rod I wouldn't worry. Remember that as the rod pushes out the wastegate lever turns, this will move the end of the rod sideways, back towards centre anyway.
