@@TheDominoEffectPodcast no matter what anyone says, there will always be a level of insecurity and jealousy even if your pro polygyny. It shouldn't be shamed. Women have a deep fear of being replaced and forgotten, especially as they get older.. Similarly when your a child and your mom gives birth to a baby. The attention goes to them because its new, and it can really warp your psych, collect alot of self doubt and self hate if your feelings aren't validated or given attention. It takes a special man to lead and love more than one woman.

It's only a matter of time before a woman who loves a man but has more or less been reduced to being one of many for him, gets tired of that situation and either begins to want out or the other ones gone.
Yeah well under British law the second wife is considered a glorified gf or mistress as in British law the second wife isn’t recognized as a second wife , only shariah recognizes so not the second wife doesn’t have the status as she’s not even classed as a wife in British law. @justsayalhamdulillaah9720 Nikkah or other religious measures, unfortunately, do not supercede the law of the land you live in unless you're in a theocracy, where religion and government are heavily intertwined or a single entity. If a man is incapacitated and needs medical permissions, a by religion only wife who is not a legal one can't do anything to help him, that would revert to his blood relatives. Inheritance would be the same. A man dies, and his partner doesn't have the protection under the law of being a legal spouse, his blood family can pull the rug out from under her, throw her out in the street, and there'd be nothing she could do about it.

I think some jealousy is good, this means that the women is still in love with her husband and will make efforts. Also with the child situation. When kids are around a bigger family- I think they tend to be more well rounded individuals. The wives can help each others out. BUT the man has to be honorable to both his wives. When he approaches the second wife- he must approach her father.
