    This is awesome for learning anatomy to draw. I now understand how the joints of the clavicle work with the scapula and how the sternum works with it so much better! Thank you!

    Thanks. I have shoulder problems due to exercise with an uneven shoulder due to 20 years of computer mouse usage. This helps me show people what I mean about scapular positioning.

    very good reference for someone who is trying to design the internal workings of his magic robot character. Seriously, that's why I'm watching this.

    No anatomy book covers shoulder movement.

    • @Kkienut
      @Kkienut Před 5 lety +1

      It wont because it only deals with motion of the body relative to an anatomical position and disregarding movements occuring at more than 1 joint.
      Try a kinesiology book, you can see there just like in anatomy, a detailed explanation of body movements occuring at multiple joints just like motions of the scapula.

    5:19 isn't that supposed to say "extension" instead of "abduction"?
    Great video though, thanks for uploading!

      This is a translated french video Anne-Mette. It is a mistake and you are right as explained below by J Garneau. Thank you a lot for the comment! :)

    • @YAM466
      @YAM466 Před 9 lety +1

      Mentathlete Excuse me, this is false. In the original video, the term was "rétropulsion" which is a synonym of extension. In french anatomy, "abduction" means "abduction". Thank you.
