To me, it sounds like what Taylor did was pretty awesome. She saved his ass yet picked one of his songs so that he could still do what was asked of him. And she just happened to know one of his songs on piano? Wow. Pretty impressive.

I didnt know Dave Grohl wrote songs? I knew he played drums in that band "Nirvana" Thats' right, he formed his own band and plays guitar. I forgot about that?

"...Breathe out, so I can breathe you in...hold you in". It's a beautiful love song, every time I've played it live, I look my girlfriend in the eyes and sing it to her.

I didn't used to be a fan, but now my opinion is changing... When this girl(tho i know she's truly a woman now...) is in her "moments, her realm, element etc. Something always happens. And its big. And its never just about Taylor - she brings those around her, the audience and even you and I along and its one of those really special times.

I love Taylor. I'm just shocked she knew how to play that song on the piano. Of all the songs to learn for the piano.
Based on what I've seen/heard she seems to just have a really good ear for "translating" songs to the piano. I remember Todrick posted videos of him singing from The Little Mermaid with her accompanying him on the piano seamlessly sans sheet music and it seemed more improvisational than anything she sat down and memorized.

I wasn't always a Taylor Swift fan. Tho my opinion has certainly changed. When this girl (tho i know her as a woman now) is in her "moments, her realm, element, etc, something always happens. And it's fresh and big. It's never just about Taylor - she brings those around her in, the audience, and even you and I come along. It becomes a really special time for a whole lot of ppl and no one ever forgets.

I ran into David Grohl years ago at a teeny Irish pub over by Fairfax and WIlshire. We were both checking out an unknown singer. Totally down to earth and happy to talk with people. Truly one of us

Okay this story is the most surreal moment I have ever heard described in my whole life. If he had said "...And then the queen walked in juggling oranges," I wouldn't have been any more surprised.
Dave has sort of lead the perfect Rock & Roll life. Tours most of the world as a teenager with Scream. Becomes famous in one of the most respected bands ever in Nirvana then his own band becomes almost as big & he's met , jammed with & become friends with most of the biggest icons in the history of rock.

Maybe that was his "intention" but he CLEARLY states he:
a) felt the party kick into high gear at 10:30, his planned time of departure
b) was out of it
c) stuck around and sunk into his seat while Taylor played piano
c) JOINED IN with Taylor on his own song....
I mean, how much later than 10:30 did all this take him to? I would say at LEAST 2 hours. He can't just sing and then say "Ok-bye!" He has to stick around now and schmooze, and join in with any other songs people are playing...
