Silent Whisper thats why being in military is hard, you need restrain yourself from panic, thats what cause most people to drown. here in malaysia my grandfather use to be in the navy and one training that he never forget was hand and leg being tied then thrown of a boat into a muddy river. they have to swim onto the river bank while having to combat the river current.

everyone is saying this is super easy and maybe it is for professional swimmers and people who swim everyday but this seemed kind of hard and exhausting for normal people who don't swim a ton

I train 3-5 hours a day during preseason for swimming so I'm kinda biased but this isn't all that bad with a little bit of work
I am fat and 14. But a lot of that and possibly most of that I can do. The lengths with no hands or legs I have done. Bobbing I have done a bit. Floating I would practice at a little.

Respect to the SEAL’s dude, they would do this on a way bigger scale with way more stuff included as well, this is just a challenge for civilians to try out. I know the usual one consist of this in a way bigger pull and a lot of calisthenics and running afterwards with absolutely no breaks.

and its not even the super tiring drills, I rather do this than a fly set
but this isnt used the way swim teachers do it, this is meant to make your mind clear out and overcome the fears that you have in the water. The way swimmers use it is just a way to make your body, and mind a bit more advanced then others through practice

My brother had to do this. When it was time to jump off the high dive he had no idea that they would push him off so when they did, he freaked out and almost drowned. But when he retook the test and he passed and was in the Navy for two years.

Well I doubt 4-6, because this training is specifically for Navy SEAL training so they usually are in the service until they are just under 40 years of age. So unless your bro passed when he was 37-38 then I don't know... And they don't accept people over 30 unless they are officers which cuts off at 32 so I don't understand I guess...😂😂😂
SEALs don't have to stay in until they retire... the contract is only 6 years (two years training four years in) then they can re-enlist if they want. What she's talking about her brother was probably in the reserves because (If i remember correctly) reserves can be two year contracts.

My friend and I tried this in her pool (not the same as a navy seal pool) some things were easy , some were hard but remember her pool was a lot shorter and shallower.
So she gets put in an elevator, but this dude has to do navy seals training and almost drown smh

My uncle and my cousin are retired Navy SEALs. My uncle graduated in 1989 and worked at Team 8 and tried for Team 6 and made it by 3 votes and became a drill instructor for 2 years and left in 2004. My cousin graduated 2008 and worked at Team 2 and Team 5. He left in 2017.

Barry Hays Bro we had a navy seal come to our water polo team asking if anyone was interested in joining. When he told us some of the stuff we had to do we just laughed at how easy it was. Obviously there is more to it then swimming, but for people who basically live in the water, it's nothing.

SyndicateAllTheWay the guys that go to do the recruiting aren’t actually seals at all. They just do that as a job while they’re recruiting. The actual seals usually just go back to be instructors while they’re on shore duty. So the guy that went to talk to you was most likely not a seal or ever saw any of the training. ButWe do go to water polo teams cuz those guys usually have the best chance of passing! Even then though the passing rate is still like 6 guys out of 200 so not as easy as anyone thinks
