Love how Samus looks, really wish they gave her the helmetless head like the old joyride figure but still really solid! Hope we get a captain falcon!
These look fantastic. I hope Jakks Pacific makes more LOZ figures. Been wanting an Ocarina of Time Ganondorf, and a line of figures from Twilight Princess including Link, Zelda, Midna, and Ganondorf

I pray for one day we get a six or seven inch Nintendo line to scale with the my other characters like Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Neca, ECT
Wish a high end import style ocarina series would be done, Id buy every one of em.
Jakks knocked it out of the park with these. Huge improvements over the old versions, and for $10 it's a steal! Hope they release a metallic version for Samus at some point, just the thought of it hypes me up. Hope they also make a Dark Samus and perhaps even Raven Beak at some point. Just a bit disappointed that they didn't add bicep swivel and That they didn't put at least a swivel for the feet instead of what they decided to do, it feels like a pretty useless joint. But again, it's all pretty great for $10.
This Samus Aran is just a rerelease. I want something different. A different power suit, her zero suit, helmetless, something different

Definitely needs bicep swivel. Been thinking about modifying the arms with swivel. Just need to find a vid. I've seen some vids. But I need a parts from another figure match paint and heat the plastic together like new. Arms might be 3 to 4 cm longer but worth it. Best route cut arms at bicep flat. Drill center hole. Get plastic center plug piece like figures with swappable hands heat plastic to gather plug arm back together. Bam swivel bicep arms
So frustrating that these aren't available in New Zealand. Want that Samus so bad.
Does anyone know when or if walmart has them online or if they're available somwhere else for a decent price?
Found them on ebay for far from 11$, more like 30$ each! They're hard to get in Germany

I have the Samus Figure. I might pick up the Link and Zelda figures. They seem pretty cool

That isnt needed because mario already has all characters as figures!
Got the Link, really wanting the Zelda/Samus... except no Walmart near me sells them! Also, think if you'd have an Odyssey Mario figure, your Smash collection would look a lot better! But that's just me.
Next wave should have a 1.25 inch scale with pikmin. Its asking for alot but Id love an ARwing vehicle with Fox mccloud.
The Shekiah Slate I would say was based on the wiiu game pad, but the original plan was for the map to be on it. The shekiah slate is just a tablet.

Great vid! But I'm a little confused on where these are available? You mentioned Walmart but I don't see any listings on their website?

Just hope they actually put it online. Their Sonic line is great, figure-wise, probably the best line the franchise has ever had, but they almost NEVER list the figures online, and that's SUPER annoying as someone who pretty much ONLY shops online. I'm a recent convert to the Metroid club, so an affordable Samus is something I would really like rn.

Walmart has these in stock picked up a Zelda Samus and Hermione didn't care for Link because he looks just like Zelda saved 10.00 the only way I got a jump on them working there 25 years but they were on the shelf already.

Jakks pacific makes the best video game action figure lines. Their Sonic line is something I wanted when I was a kid 20 years ago.

@Toy Shiz Cool! Looks a little more detailed than the old one, at least with the paint apps. I used to have all the variants of her too but I sold everything except my Zelda figures and the 4" Koopa Kids. I gotta grab that Wendy I just saw in your other video too! 😆

For the price, these are great. I already have the 2 releases of samus from figma, so I'll pass. Those on the other hand, are in a different class. Price wise as well.
Finally, the legends return to more than just mario. I always loved the mario line, but the series was definitely not as good without the other nintendo series.

I was positive the Samus was just the old one, so I pulled mine out to compare, but no! I don't think there's any reuse. Maybe the morph ball? All the articulation looks vastly improved, though the original DOES have a bicep swivel as well as some extra sculpting on the torso.

Mafex needs to get go talk to Nintendo. The Figma Samus looks good,but it's not cheap.
Those arms look ridiculous.
The heads look kinda off. Maybe it's the big cheeks. I guess they're good for $11 but I wish we could get nintendo figures in the black series/marvel legends price points. Something inbetween this and figma levels of quality. Link doesn't even have a pot lid shield on this budget.

Jakks is embarrassing marvel legends and mcfarlane by having better paint apps and pin-less at 1/3 of the price.

@@RobbieRocketship yep and re releasing keeps scalpers at bay. They fun lines. I do agree with Shiz, stars for new figures would help. Sometimes I get duplicates by mistake. 😂

Basic would be 5 POA. Nothing basic about these when you consider the paint apps and articulation for $11. Figma is $80-100+
Samus was already re-released once, which is rare for Figma. You're better off grabbing the Metroid Dread Samus later this year and holding out for them to release a Breath of the Wild Link.
How are they going to do a link figure and not have the master sword with him just some basic sword that is basically useless in the game that is some high grade well painted BS right there

Samus looks really cheap in person. Just awful.
The Zelda figures looked better. But just too simple. Wish they had some marvel legend scale instead. With that style of articulation and paint.
