Nah
Nope
Kyrie requested a trade due to not meeting a negotiation with the Nets. Then KD requested a trade due to a lack of a costar and TERRIBLE upper management. But each day the media claimed it was all "Drama". Now Nick Fierdell has joined the Suns organization to repeat the process. SMH!

Kyrie Irving is still living Rent free SAS.... Ben Simmons is the time off King.

Kawhi is
Windhorst made great points when they were talking about the dunk contest … these trade requests do a lot for these individual players, but not the league. Say what you will management and all that, but Brooklyn is a NY market that went from a contender to a middle of the pack squad … KD/KAI are in great situations now and they have the right to do that, but it only benefits them, not the league
Nothing's good for the league. It's either good for the owners or the top players. There are a select few players where these things benefit them (like 10% of them) and the rest of the players are at the mercy of the owners. Look at Patrick Beverley or Mikal Bridges as opposed to Kyrie and KD.
@@smoothsavage2870 bad to include mikal bridges who wouldn’t trade him for KD although the suns didn’t want to but that was the only way the deal would’ve got done but Pat bev oh that’s spot on lol
@@richardmatthews2807 Mikal found out he was traded on social media from a team that he had loyalty to. I wouldn't say that benefit him at all. He understood why, but that doesn't change the fact that he was traded without his knowledge and had no time to prepare for it.
And the SAS Kyrie Hate Tour rolls on. 😂

You can tell SA was raised by women.
NBA analysts especially on ESPN just pick and choose what to talk about not the actual issues on the court. Players getting techs for speaking to their teammates, referees are so bad they are affecting the outcomes and no one talks about it unless a certain player and team throw a tantrum. Small market teams are gathering picks that they can't eventually keep because the luxury tax will hit them so they eventually have to ship off their future stars to a team he doesn't want and when that player requests a trade Adam Silver and his analysts get mad.
The referees are beyond awful. Some of the calls they make (or don't make) are straight up corrupted.
KD and Kyrie said the same thing and you chose to attack 1 of them
SAS scared of Durant's mom 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Funny thing is Stephen A. wanted Max traded from FirstTake for the same thing.. “making a good business decision”
how is this related? did max request a trade?
Max' contract with FirstTake was up and Stephen A just didn't want Max back. Not sure that is a good example, young man.
I miss the old days were players would finish out their contracts and then become free agents. Instead we are watching players request trades when things get tough or when things don’t get their way.
business. they don't owe teams.teams make business decisions too
And it's not like the Nets were still bad. They were on a hot streak (before the KD injury). When healthy, they were a threat. Celtics and Bucks had slightly better odds than them, but the Nets were still in it... and they both opted out.
It’s the era of instant gratification. All of us are affected by it

Kyrie also signed a 1 year extension because he was taking responsiblity of what happen hoping to sign for a max extension he was playing his best basketball ever and showed up (Steven A) yet they were only gonna pay him if he won a championship meaning they didnt want him there thats y he left. It really also had nothing to do with money it was really about him being in bkn. They didnt even offer a full max they were gonna pay ben simmons over him thats crazy. I do think the media influences the buisness decisions of the nets. Think about it not paying kyrie signing a injured player for a player who can score 20 / 10 and play ben hasnt played a season with the sixers he playing like a garbage with the nets. The media hates the nets and praying for their downfall and the owner and sean marks r falling for their agenda🤦♂.

Kyrie wasn’t even that good on the nets he barely played for them and left when he started losing too many in a row. KD left bc kyrie left. Kyrie has definitely did some stuff that people may not agree with but don’t act like the nets wasn’t wrong.
@@walk_er shouldn't have been at fault yet it still was his decision and he was the only one on the team who declined. You can talk about heart and team all you want but check his actions and they don't match his words. How many NBA players missed games because they decided to attend a birthday party instead? Or how many missed games after Jan 6th capitol attacks? For the anti Semitic film, I don't know how you defend that one or blame the Nets here. They literally have protesters outside the building but they were just supposed to ignore it and let him return to work? Did you notice how they gave him time to respond and didn't suspend him until he held an all-time terrible press conference? The ADL literally returned his donation afterwards as his responses were so terrible. Ky's mad that he doesn't have a max contract extension but who turned it down before last season started? Remember how KD signed his max contract and the Nets had offers out to both Harden and Ky who choose not to sign? And it's nothing new. Ky has been a poor teammate every step of his career. Remember when he said he had so much to learn from Lebron yet two weeks later demanded the Cavs trade him or else he'll have in season knee surgery? Or when he promised the Celtics crowd at midcourt how they'd be together forever and then he ditched them the very next off season? So I'm not sure how you're placing the blame on the Nets. Seems like the biggest mistake they made was giving Kyrie everything he wanted before this year.

SAS is and incredible lap dog for the establishment.
KD made the point a couple of years ago about the focus of basketball needs to be on the court but he was told by media members like SAS that the attention buzz that the media creates is what’s more important and creates revenue. Now he threw it back in there face with his answers during AS break. They wanted it like this and it’s definitely corny but blame the machine. Basketball purists like KD been talking about the analysis need to be more basketball focus on the court.
Good point.
Not trade requests the media strictly said players joining forces to win is good attention but to quit and want out isn’t good for business

which time? When he said he has so much to learn from Lebron and two weeks later was threatening in season knee surgery if the Cavs didn't trade him? When he came out to center court and asked the Celtics fans if they'll take him and then ditched them at the end of the season? When he was actively trying to sabotage the NBA bubble during covid? When he decided he'd rather attend a birthday party over a team game? When he convinced Harden that he wasn't trust worthy and that Harden should force his own trade request because the Nets were going nowhere? When he said the Nets don't need a coach?
Why do we ok owners trading a player whenever and for whatever reason yet the players are wrong for doing the same.
SAS needs “THE DROP SQUAD!!”
Imagine if KD never left OKC and never made another finals with Russell. Everyone would be saying he's wasting his potential on a franchise that doesn't care about him like they are with Dame. When is the media going to trash these franchises for being horrible at developing talent, supporting their star players, or even just drafting decent talent.
That OKC team was WAY better than Golden state. They were up 3-1 for a reason. KD CHOKED! I’m a KD super Stan but that’s the truth, even I agreed that he shouldn’t have went to GS, he could’ve went to the clippers, spurs or heat. There was no reason to choose golden state. As the number one Russ hater, Russ didn’t choke and always played well vs golden state.
Media is a how they market the product there is alot of collusion to keep anything that would hurt fan attendance and rating at bay! Whole league is corrupt from the top down players just defend themselves! thats just HUMAN Nature!
@@colinedelman6392 Bro, Russ choked hella hard. KD choked game 6 sure but that was it. Russ averaged 4-5 turnovers a game and couldn't guard curry or Klay to save his life. KD choosing to go to GS was all because of how they play basketball. It was a style he liked more than any other. Clippers were never going anywhere and were on the verge of their break-up anyway. The spurs and Heat both play a style of basketball that KD doesn't gritty, defensive basketball that focuses more on a style that would have asked him to change his game.
