I'm just really sad that theyve abandoned their electro swing sound. They ignited that genre and were *the* electro swing band, and now they just sound like stuff I've heard before and are more commercial.

Well, I have tried to combine the meanings in the Russian and the Moonshine lyrics. (Because Moonshine sampled from Russian.)
In the Russian, there is a girl; speaking to somone else, encouraging to fight to reach her, even if she would continue to slip away. Questioning the excuses, their legitimacy; life is mor than throwing reasons to do nothing.
But in here, we listen to the boy now, and there is no way you can not symphatize with him, he is right in his own way: life is just enough to get by with daily satisfactions, there is no surplus of morale or will to chase after something; if there is some little energy and hope left in you, you would try to use it the best; and so he can just search and look; but can not risk to follow through his dreams.

I think there's more than that. It seems like the Russian girl is criticizing someone for being weak, unable or unwilling to fight, and for them telling her "[they] don't know what to do". Yet she admits she doesn't care if something is wrong or right and admits to lying, and to intentionally pulling back from their attempts to reach out to her. Russian's beat is quite fast-paced, and you get some jazz trumpet in there too.
Meanwhile, it looks like the Moonshine guy is responding to her directly. Telling her that she already knows his struggles, and to consider his point. He asks her how he ended up here, and how he's going to achieve his goals- just getting by, being satisfied, and finding "someone, evermore". Pretty understandable- he says he wants to take it slow when he sees his chance, because he doesn't want to lose what he has now. And Moonshine's beat is quite a bit slower than Russian's.
Unfortunately for Moonshine, I doubt Russian is going to be his "someone". She doesn't seem like his type, or even like a very good person. I doubt they'll stay together- or even that they're still together at all. I mean, it was three years before he responded to her, and he's already got another voice alongside him...

To me, it is like life, you know: There is always something out there, tempting you; and you try to reach it, with what little capability you have. Even if you reach, it turns out, there is something else, tempting you now; so in time, you start to adapt to the pace of life, knowing it will never end, starting to take it slow, but having a little hole in you always. Love between Russian and Moonshine, is like the love between earth and moon, always orbiting each other, but never getting together: You might even say, it is like the love between first space traveling nation (Russians) and something they never actually reached, but always desired (Moon).

God, you guys have mastered the art of signature! Every single song you lot have made always has that touch of Caravan to it no matter out intense or mellow the song itself is. It's an unmistakable style that truly doesn't get old, or feel repeated to much because it's juuuust enough. Not a lot of artist can do this!
