    Hey Mark, great vid and looking forward to more videos during your stay in Perth. I've heard that the Thursday Papas is pretty fast and takes a different. It'll be good if you can join the ride. Enjoy your stay in Perth

    Cracking footage of Jack nailing the sprint. 40mph into a headwind after 60ks is impressive to say the least. Have you ever thought about trying to get on with the Charter Mason boys?

    You were in proper shape and motivated here too.. 191 beats!
    lately your vlogs have gotten better but your fitness gone down..
    probably some kind of equation .. better vlog = lower fitness + higher kilos

    is it better to have a high max heart rate or a low max heart rate. eg cycle maven has a max heart rate of 183, is that good??

    • @cyclingmaven
      @cyclingmaven  Před 8 lety

      +markus jackson Hey Markus. It's not really relevant to performance. Doesn't matter if your max is 205 or 185. It's better to know your FTP. FTP is a great measure of fitness and improvements. "Functional Threshold Power". Google it and research it if you've never heard of FTP.

    • @markusjackson4830
      @markusjackson4830 Před 8 lety

    You touched 190 beats per minute in this video, why did you say your max is 183?

    • @mar1n35rth3b35t
      @mar1n35rth3b35t Před 8 lety

      His max sustainable heart rate I'd imagine the 191 was an anerobic effort that wasn't sustainable as he said he was blown
