Awesome and a great reaction! This is an amazing song, and an iconic performance. Babymetal's first world tour, and first major international stage appearance. They got bumped up from side stage to main stage at Sonisphere UK due to buzz online and a fan driven campaign. This was the first time they performed infront of 50K true metal heads. Iron Maiden was the headliner that day (Prodigy and Metallica on other days).
Lead Su-metal is 16, Yuimetal is 15, and Moametal just turned 15 the day before. To turn a crowd of confused UK metalheads to chant "We want more!!" at such a young age while being relatively unknown at that time deserves so much respect.
The neckbrace is actually from a Babymetal fans present (much smaller numbers back then). Babymetal has used the neckbrace as a nod to X-Japan, since that band's drummer injured his neck headbanging, and had to wear a neckbrace. Babymetal incorporated that in their "Headbanger" MV.
*The song itself also carries a very deep meaning:*
Title: Ijime (ee-jee-meh), Dame (dah-meh), Zettai (zeh-tie). "Bullying, No, Never". Fans call it IDZ for short.
    A snippet of the lyrics:
_I didn't show my tears, and in the night I was about to cry,_
_in a room deep inside my heart, I stayed alone._
_Those who hurt me were not only someone else,_
_but also those who pretended not to notice. It was my friend._
    _Bullying. [No!] Bullying. [No!]_
_It's disgraceful. [No! No! No! No!]_
_Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you hurt someone,_
_and we all get badly hurt._
    _Fox, [Fly!] Fox, [Fly!]_
_I'm sure you can fly. [Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly!]_
_Let your pain and sadness all go outside!_
_It's OK because I'll protect you._
    Look forward to more! 🤘🦊

This was the moment 60K UK souls felt in love with this Japanese group, they called it the miracle of Sonisphere, after this UK become the 2nd home for them.
So sad the organizers won't do this festival anymore due to financial troubles.
    Answering some of your questions:
    - Yep, this is live sound with some backing tracks here and there but SuMetal is singing live and she's relentless at sucha young age.
    - That was a fight scene between the girls, they went real hard like they always used to love giving it all in the stage, MoaMetal even slips and it was cut off from the official MV. You can also see YuiMetal fighting with a piece of torn red skirt. lol
    - The neck brace makes sense when you watch Headbanger!! official MV or Babymetal Death live at Legend 1997. Although i highly suggest you to watch Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997 (2013) first and i will explain more about it.
Thanks for sharing this amazing performance in this year being the 10th anniversary of this special festival next month.
    See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Welcome back, great reaction again - and yes this one was all live (they are better live, especially Su's vocals and the Kami Band's instrumentals).🦊30 minutes and 5 songs earlier most of that crowd didn't have a clue who BABYMETAL were - and a few who had maybe seen the 'Gimme Chocolate' video weren't happy that this "gimmick, joke, money grabbing manufactured band" were playing at Sonisphere at all.
This was BABYMETAL's first adventure outside of Asia. They played a couple of small venues in Paris and Cologne in the days before this, but Sonisphere was their first time in the UK and their first major event outside of Asia.
They were originally booked to play a small side stage or tent expecting maybe a couple of thousand of their own fans, but 'Gimme Chocolate' had gone viral and there was some noise surrounding them, so with just a couple of months notice their booking was changed and they were moved to the main stage first thing on the Saturday morning.
The crowd that gathered was unusually big for that time on the Saturday - 50-60,000 UK metalheads and some had been threatening on social media to boo them off and throw bottles (it has happened before at UK festivals if the crowd don't like what they hear).
The girls were aged 16 and the two younger ones only just turned 15 (they celebrated their respective 15th birthdays at the two shows in France and Germany I mentioned earlier). They were aware of the threats and thought they may not be accepted, but they were more worried that nobody was there to see them at all - they couldn't see the crowd from where they were back stage.
They walked out on stage to a sea of puzzled faces and a crowd wondering why there were 3 small Japanese schoolgirls in red tutus walking on stage at a metal festival. Su-metal is reported as having seen the faces and thought of it as a challenge thinking to herself "This will be fun, let's knock it out of the park."
IDZ was the final song of the set and you could hear for yourself the crowd calling for "One More song" and "We want more". They made a lot of new fans that day and their merch outsold all the other bands playing that weekend (including Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Anthrax and many more big names in the metal world).
They have spoken in interviews about how this performance was a major turning point for them and how it made them realise their music could cross language and other barriers and that they might actually be accepted into the world of metal.
They played their first show in London a couple of days later and enjoyed that so much that they now think of London and the UK as their second home.
You will see neck braces making an appearance in some of their live shows ... they have even had some concerts where everybody in the audience had to wear one, most notably at the Tokyo Dome in 2016 where 55,000 people all had a neck brace with an LED bulb given to them to wear during the show - and they repeated that the next night with another 55,000 people.

    Great reaction, thanks!
Yes, this is a actual live performance with live audio. As a general rule for the videos in their channel, if the tittle has the word "live", it's a fully live performance. And yes, both Su-metal and the Kami Band sound incredible live.
"Ijime, Dame Zettai" sounds like "ee-jee-meh, dah-meh, zeh-tah-ee" and literally means "Bullying, no, absolutely" (or "No more bullying forever" as they officially translated). It's obviously an anti-bullying song and talks not only about the bullies and the bullying itself (and overcoming the situation) but also about the attitudes of those who know the issue and decide to look to the other side.
The neckbrace thing is a recurring BABYMETAL item (even I own one, haha...). It's featured in the "Headbanger!" music video and it's a tribute to X-Japan's drummer (founder, songwriter and soul) Yoshiki Hayashi, who got injured from headbanging violently during concerts and had to wear a neckbrace by medical prescription even performing.
Walking off that stage while the crowd was chanting for more is an epic win, since UK crowds are known for being quite hostile with bands that don't match their standards. This performance is clean and simple with no lights shows or spectacular stage setups (and during the daylight), but it's still pure gold.
    Until next time!

Since this song is very important, I will provide a translation of the lyrics for you
*IJIME, DAME, ZETTAI* (Bullying, No, Absolutely)
    [Rururu...]
    [Ah.]
Dreaming, I couldn't have even it.
Between the light and the darkness, I stayed alone.
Those who got hurt were not only I myself,
but also those who kept on watching me. It was you.
    Confidence, [Have it!]
    I couldn't have. [Don't be beaten!]
I kept on hiding [I dislike to be found!]
    until yesterday. [Yesterday is gone!]
But good-bye to yesterdays' myself. [Bye-bye!]
    Bullying. [No!] Bullying. [No!]
It's disgraceful. [No! No! No! No!]
Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you hurt someone,
and we all get badly hurt.
    Fox, [Fly!] Fox, [Fly!]
I'm sure you can fly. [Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly!]
Let your pain and sadness all go outside!
It's OK because I'll protect you.
I didn't show my tears, and in the night I was about to cry,
in a room deep inside my heart, I stayed alone.
Those who hurt me were not only someone else,
but also those who pretended not to notice. It was my friend.
    Nothing [Nothing!]
    could I say. [Say nothing!?]
I was about to give up [No easy throwing out!]
    until yesterday. [Yesterday is gone!]
But good-bye to yesterdays' myself. [Bye-bye!]
    Bullying. [No!] Bullying. [No!]
It's disgraceful. [No! No! No! No!]
Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you hurt someone,
and we all get badly hurt.
    Fox, [Fly!] Fox, [Fly!]
I'm sure you can fly. [Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly!]
Let your pain and sadness all go outside!
It's OK because I'll protect you.
    Pain...
    Aching...
    All the while...
    Alone...
    Your heart...
    Pretending not to notice...
    Anymore...
    I'll never get away.
    Bullying, No, Absolutely.
Full of dearest-ness, it's pressuring but also encouraging.
    Anymore, anymore your...
I don't want to see anymore your tearful face.
    Bullying. [No!] Bullying. [No!]
It's disgraceful. [No! No! No! No!]
Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you hurt someone,
and we all get badly hurt.
    Fox, [Fly!] Fox, [Fly!]
    I'm sure you can fly.
Let your pain and sadness all go outside!
It's OK because I'll protect you.
Bullying, No, absolutely. [No! No! No! No!]
    Bullying, No, forever.
Bullying, No, absolutely. [No! No! No! No!]
    Bullying, No, never.

@BeardedDragonsDen Babymetal's producer Koba is a fan of X-Japan. Their drummer hurt his neck headbanging supposedly and famously wore a neck brace. X-Japan is very famous in Japan. The Babymetal song Akatsuki is an homage to the X-Japan song Kurenai.
Personally I don't buy the neckbrace story. It was probably just theater. X-Japan were very theatrical. I think they are retired now. X-Japan and Koba are about our age probably 50s.

Pronunciation: Ee-jee-meh, Dah-meh, zeh-ta-ee" And yep, 100% live on this one! Regarding the neck brace, it is one of the symbols of BABYMETAL, along with the fox masks that you'll occasionally see. They used it early on for the "Headbangerrrr" video, as a tribute to Yoshiki, drummer of X-Japan, who was one of their early inspirations. Yoshiki had suffered a sever neck injuriy and had to wear a neck brace while performing for awhile. Su-metal also dons the neck brace in the live performance of "Babymetal Death" from the Legend 1997 concert.

My favorite part of 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' is still the part where Su threatens to kick Yui and Moa in the head if they don't stop bullying each other.
And this anti-bullying song gets some of the biggest mosh pits. : )
I can't imagine the strength of nerve it took for a 16 year old Su, and just turned 15 year olds Yui and Moa to take that stage.
I'd say they made some new fans that day.
They followed this up with a headlining concert at The Forum in London two days later.
This was a classic Kami Band line-up with Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Leda Cygnus guitars, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 The phrase "Dame Zettai (= No absolutely)" is originated from police campaign against illegal drugs which had started in 1960s. So this song implies that "Ijime (= bullying)" is considered as harmful and addictive as illegal drugs. We have to continue our efforts at home and in school (and in any society or organization or group in the world) to eliminate it.
In this video, I love to see the excited crowd gradually turn into enthusiastic audience. When three girls started to speak some words in the interlude, loud cheers quickly subsided and the audience even tried to listen to what they were saying although the people could not understand our language. I am emotionally moved whenever I see that scene. People in the crowd became happy, so did Kami band, and I am sure that the three girls fell asleep very happily that night after the biggest event in their life in foreign county.
This song was revived in January 2020 and BABYMETAL have performed many times since then with Su-Metal's matured voice and encouraging moves by Moa and Momoko. It was probably their message to the current world.
