Yes. Always painted the blade black though. Going from Louisville wood-colored wood sticks to replacement blades in 2-piece aluminum/composites to the (mostly) gray early Synergys. After that, aside from a few exceptions, most 1-piece sticks were usually black anyway. Would go out on the back porch, sprawl out some tarp, put some masking tape above the area I was gonna paint (I wanted those clean/sharp lines), spray paint the blade area and sit them standing up against wall (over tarp) to dry. Sometimes would do a quick second coat, let ‘em dry a few minutes, then get the heat gun & give ‘em a quick once over 😎
@@SandalGuy1 usually rustoleum works the best I think. That’s what I have used. Just make sure to sand your stick before applying for the best finish.
@@coyotwolf8 ya ik I noticed that too and I’m curious to know how he does it to because it looks clean I’m assuming he tapes the shin guard to the tendon guard then puts his sock over it

I used to like the fluorescent pink Titan wood sticks back in the 80's. I don't think I would paint over those ones.
Never spray painted a stick, done other stuff with grips/tack rag/stickers. Marc Savard breaking down tape jobs would be the perfect add on.

They should take extreme care that there is lots of ventilation use it outside is best because it gets into your lungs for sure otherwise
