I’m no Hogan fan but that tv host repeatedly asking Hogan to do a wrestling move on him and then suing because Hogan did a wrestling move on him is still crazy to me. Hogan explicitly told him no like a dozen times lol like dude what’d you expect to happen?
A lot of these are pretty sad, but the Richard Belzer one still cracks me up. Just how quickly Belzer went out from that guillotine is hilarious. The Chyna one is really sad, though. A lot of people don't realize that years after this when she was teaching English in Japan, she was clean and sober, and had her life together. Then the last year of her life, she just unraveled all over again, and I can't help but think it was her decision to move back to the states that triggered everything.
You're definitely hitting the mark on Chyna's situation. That "director" & his "producers" compromised her life for clout. They had her looking very desperate for fan's admiration which she didn't have too. People never stopped loving her and that Vice documentary made me sick to my stomach.
X-Pac was her last major problem before her death

Taker could of shut down Vader at any point. I feel Taker thought that host deserved it and just let Vader run. Also there was nothing Accidental about Hogan putting that guy out.. He pissed off Hogan and T so Hogan did that shit on purpose.
Hogan in his book said he shoulda let him go gently when he went out though, but he just flat dropped him, panicking. Also Chez Hogan took on a similar look to the house he and his now ex-wife Linda once had....she was supposedly rather furious at that as I recall.
The Vader thing was planned, hence why Taker just sat there no selling it.
The director of the show had told Vader to rough up the host, knowing it'd make exciting TV. However, he didn't let the hose know it was going to happen, hence it's his real reaction.

Stossel deserved everything he got. I mean what do you think was going to happen when you call someone's job fake!!! Stossel is just lucky it was the WWF and not like JCP, WCCW, or Mid South they would have treated him way worse than what Schultz did!!! Ah Stossel....screw that guy. The whole "they're selling lies" quote of his has annoyed me ever since I heard it. Wrestling is entertainment the same way Harry Potter, Breaking Bad (take your pick) is entertainment. We don't attack those things though, but Stossel keeps at it even all these years later when it's brought up.

saw an interview years ago , the wrestler being interviewed figured Belzers heartrate was 'elevated' probably due to some nose candy and that was why he passed out so fast
No, it takes less than 5 seconds for absolutely any person to lose consciousness from a proper choke and that guillotine was sunk as deep as possible.
If done properly, it knly takes a few seconds to choke someone out. You aren't actually choking them. You are cutting of oxygen/blood to the brain
