- In this simple tutorial, you'll learn how to use Blender as a photo editor. In this video specifically, we'll cover how to do basic edits like color adjustments, overlaying images on top of other images and chroma keying. These techniques can also similarly be applied to videos as well.
This tutorial is most suited to beginners.
blender is a giant with all cool things you can do with it. Excellent tutorial
Very nice tutorial dude. Just carry on & bring such great tutorials for us. Lots of love and good wishes from India. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏🙏🙏
Nice video with a topic that doesn't often get covered. But the idea of scaling/cropping the image is a bit odd, considering that the goal is to use Blender as a photo editor, so probably it would make more sense to keep the original size and show how to adjust the render settings to the image, not the other way round. I can't think of any way of doing it except checking image properties outside of Blender and copying them into render settings, but maybe there's a way to do that automatically.
Pretty cool stuff.
Very useful and clear explanation.
great video buddy make more of these
This your video helpful for me . thank you so much
Someone just launched the next Blender tutorials tendency with this underrated topic. Thanks!
@Dakari Merrick Yup, I have been watching on Flixzone for since november myself :)
@Dakari Merrick Definitely, been using flixzone for years myself =)
Super useful thanks!
your tutor is great; after all, resize the pricture is the bigest problem; are there's another way to do that?
Thankx!
How do i make the masked sections transparent as opposed to colored?
You are great dude. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏🙏🙏
Deserve thumbs up
Great way to edit photos in Blender. A lot of photo editing can be done in Blender without Photoshop ;)
Who do you work for
great tutorial man, i wanted this, but where is the second part 😅
How make brush sellection in blender like photo shop
Sorry super noob question but how are you importing the image? Are you aranging a camera view to render it in the 3d viewport? Or is there a 2d focused workspace for this? When I bring it into grease pencil it doesn't seem to want to render
Just drag and drop the image from the folder into the Image Editor window.
I got so stuck what to do to fit the image because i didn't know what view button you were clicking because you have no mouse i spent like 30 minutes trying to figure out what you were clicking just because you don't have a mouse.
i guess ill be the first to mention that having to render everytime you want to see a micro adjustment made your your image is a total deal breaker for me. you need to be able to see the image and edit in real time... is there a way to show a bigger preview of the image while you adjust settings such as brightness and contrast
Can somebody please explain how to mask a portion of an image out and render it on a different image? For example in my initial image, there is a person, but I want to crop out only the person and attach them on another image. Advice?
just plug both images into a mix node using the mask as the fac
Is it possible to add more than 2 picture, let's say 3 or 4
around the 20min mark, when creating the mask for the eyes, you say Ctrl left click to select the eyes. When I do this nothing happens, trying to google this but i get a lot of stuff about sculpting lasso.
the mas k is not applyied
Jokes so dry that laundromat had to file for bankrupt.
Wow...not to be too grumpy; you say " and click here" and I have to rewind video six times and still are unable to locate where " here is" you need to have the cursor highlighted or describe a little more in detail where you are clicking, ie... "and near the top left of the screen; you will see a tab named * click it"
' i would place it somewhere between microsoft paint, and photosphop'
this really narrows things down, lol
Plz make a video how u make cartoon than use that cartoon character to make the video plz am having so many doubts plz let me know plz guide me
it's hard to follow because when you say "click this one" your mouse is invisible so we have no idea where you're clicking
Yep - had the same problem. I'm a noob, so I found it difficult to follow on. Was literally comparing my blender window with the video paused.
@@inthenet88 it would be nice if he looked at his own video and just remade it so we could understand it lbs
@@inthenet88 Also if you found a better tutorial please let me know or if you got better upload one 🙏🏾🙏🏾
i dunno man, for simple things, it looks insane man, maybe some other time ;/
Is there anything that Blender can't do?
Yes, it can't be simple and have to make everything complicated
@@kunimitsu8053 That issue will be addressed by the Blender 101 project ;)
Bro please use Arrow I couldn't find the things so fast ly
great tutorial, thanks
MS paint is not a great comparison - might have been better to rate it relative to GIMP, Inkscape, Corel PhotoPaint etc...
