Nahida was in no position to save the gnosis' and still managed to squeeze the biggest secret of the world from this guy and force him to delete all of his smurf accounts.

Having to give up two Gnoses sucks, but the alternative was for Nahida to futilely fight against the Second Harbinger and lose them anyway and maybe get us killed in the process. This way, not only is the Doctor's threat level severely cut due to losing all his clones for one Gnosis, but he had to give up critical information about the Descenders (and by extension, the Traveler's sibling) to get the other one.
Whether or not this was a good trade remains to be seen, but either way Nahida just did us a huge solid - and possibly more for us than the last three Archons combined. The Hydro Archon has some big shoes to fill.

Well it's highly difficult but not impossible, he can still create more versions of himself later if he wants, but it will surely make our future figth against him easier
I liked that Nahida brought the idea of destroying the Gnoses to bring forth a different entity and was willing to do so even as the goddess of wisdom. It peaked the Doctor's interest and seemed like it was information he hadn't heard before or confirmation by another archon.
Also Doctor erasing all the other perspectives/replicas is quite an interesting take. It can either be he actually erased all of them shown, or severed the connection between them. But it all came from the first Gnoses. There is a possibility the doctor could hide the 2nd Gnoses due to not having any peering eyes to study it as a scholar.
Lastly, It would be an interesting plot point to see one of the doctors replicas surviving perhaps having a contingency plan in case something like this occurred. Be an interesting test subject for the og Doctor to see a replica exceeding expectations.
(haven't played the story yet so all of this is just a fun take on a theory)
For someone who is the youngest archon, nahida sure is smart. She is also more helpful than other archons. Best archon
The other archon pretty much give up ruling after so long or just doing they own thing. Nahida on the other hand is JUST RELEASED from prison where's she was held there since birth. so she literally doing her best as a new archon for her people.
She is the god of wisdom for a reason
Zhongli is pretty strict about contracts w the traveller's sibling so he can't say anything about the missing sibling, he's a God of contract after all
Ei don't have any idea about the missing sibling as her attention was focus to her own sibling too. Idk about Venti but I do heard that he literally have no idea about the missing sibling and that he slept during the cataclysm or something idk, I forgot, Genshin's lore is big and I can't remember everything

Dottore's clones were from different points in his life, younger and older. Dottore can't recreate those points in his life.

We now have an established pattern for these Archon Quests.
Venti: Gets mugged and loses Gnosis
Zhongli: Trades Gnosis as a part of his retirement plan
Ei: Finds Gnosis useless and gives it to Yae, Yae gives it to Balladeer to save the Traveler, Nahida takes it from Balladeer at the end of his boss fight
Nahida: Bargaining chip to squeeze info out of Dottore and make him erase every one of his duplicates around Sumeru City, gives both her Gnosis and Ei's to Dottore
At this point, I'd be amazed if we met an Archon that actually values the damn thing aside from the Tsaritsa, of course.

@@GGameBois_o7 most definitely, but I also think any human/deity with even a little bit of pride would be no different and rather be powerful on their own merit than rely on a gnosis/vision. Keqing is a good example of that.
As Nahida said, every Harbinger ranked 3 and onwards (Columbina, Docttore and Pierro) have power equal to that of a god, and Docttore, who have clones, means with enough resources and time he will only multiply in power. Nahida just single-handedly bought us information relating to the very essence of the world and the destruction of a god-tier enemy's greatest asset with two genosi. Judging by the fact that this is treated by many archon as less an artifacts of power and more of status and control, I think this is a very good deal.

Irminsul actually faces the normal way where khanreah and the abyss are while teyvat is facing upside down. The heavenly principles created a fake sky because you can’t rlly have a sky if you’re upside down 💀 the way irminsul grows is the place with the real sky. We have yet to know why they created the fake sky in the first place and why teyvat is facing upsidedown

In childs boss fight and his cutscene to phase 3. we see that paimon is buried under broken pieces of the floor that fell into the deeper floor. so basically paimon touches the ground allready there

Well, as hard as it is to make another segment, at least he *can make* them. However, according to Zhongli, “there is no such thing” as something that’s worth a gnosis. So trading the destruction of things that can be replaced for a 7-of-a-kind, irreplaceable artifact is always gonna benefit Dottore in the long run.
Dottore gave up when Nahida threatened to destroy the Gnosis and risked waking up the Heavenly Principles......And mind you, Dottore is top 3 Harbingers, those who were speculated to have the ability to fight toe to toe against Archons. If Dottore feared waking up the Heavenly Principles.......
This means Heavenly Principles is a force too much to be handled by anyone in Teyvat. And even his/her Sustainer is too strong against full power Travelers during the opening cutscene.
I think it was the fear of disobeying his own Archon that held him back more than the Heavenly Principles.
Heavenly principles is too strong right now,. Thats why Tsaritsa is collecting 7 gnoses to face them. So the priority is to get all the gnoses no matter what,

At 11:36, Dottore mentions that Teyvat's skies are fake, dating back to the 'Unreconciled Stars' Event in 1.1. Did anyone else notice that?
Yes! Thank you! Finally someone else noticed that too. Plus after experiencing the dream Scaramouche said that the stars and the sky is a lie. But what does that mean? That the sky and stars managed to deceive even Mona’s scrying glass. But I do wonder: is the world either trapped by Celestia, creating a dome like place that trapped the gods and those that worshipped them at the time and what the Archon’s war truly was is: to take the Gnosis and to gain power to break free from this prison. But I dont think every god knew the purpose of the Gnosis and saw it as “to gain power and status.” But they were so wrong, doing that would cause them to continue the never ending prison.
But something else important: the Abyss. Why is the Abyss the way it is. I believe khaenri'ah was the first and last ljne of defence, aka the weak spot of the dome and as a result the gods would constantly be at war alongside the humans. But the war grew too long snd thus civilisation decided to develop their technology, intelligences to the highest level they could to create automatons. That explains the huge sizes of the 2 ruin guards we seen in Sumeru and why they are scattered throughout the world. And then the final line of defence broke down and the gods were dispatched to khaenri'ah. But as for why the Abyss is expressed the way it is: I believe that it is the only way for it to be expressed in that way. Celestia must be the mainframe from where Teyvat is being imprisoned and such it has ‘rules’ where there is stuff that can/cant happen and the Abyss aka the outside world’s energy has no choice but to be express in such a manner, plus if the Gods of Celestia are the opposite of the outside energy of the world: then that means its their weak spot.
I noticed that too and just groaned "Ugh not you too" because all it does is make me wear my tin foil hat for the rest of the Archon quests

My guess is that the 2 giant ruin guards we found in Sumeru were meant to destroy the fake sky to prove their point, and Celestia basically silenced them and used the Archons as a cover.

Dottore's segments have always freaked me out, especially when it was revealed he made them from ALL of his ages and his status as the Second of the Eleven. Meaning, that they'll be able to strike from the most unsuspecting places and there are more #2 Harbingers than there are Harbingers. So Dottore removing them for the time being is a bit relieving.

this guy is one of the scariest villain in the game, and Nahida was able threaten him. She's so brave.
Not only that, he was ranked 2nd in power, only behind Peirro himself. If Dottore is scary, then Peirro is gonna be a living nightmare! We already had to fight the 11th(Tartaglia), 8th(Signora) and 6th(Scaramouche) Harbingers and barely came out of those fights alive!

I’d expect someone who barely got out of a fight alive to be unable to stand properly, let alone flex on their opponent and then immediately prepare to throw hands at a literal god

I feel like since the gnosis is a connection to the heavenly principles and the archons hardly care about them, the gnosis isn't exactly that important for them. However, I wonder if the same would be true to the hydro archon
I doubt archons would have fought for the 7 seats if they didnt care about the gnosis. I dont see the archons giving up power freely like that. Venti is the only sus one right now.
@@zukodude487987 the gnosis doesn't give a power boost tho or at least not a big one to the archons and other gods, described as being an amped-up vision by venti, the anemo gnosis could change the weather, the geo gnosis allowed the holder to make mora, the electro gnosis made "puppets" and the dendro gnosis created and was the only reason the akasha terminal was functional, the 7 seals were likely just dominion over each element since they archons don't need them to use their respective elements.

The gnosis were the only thing that gave Nahida the power to actually save everyone. The 'power' of a gnosis is not restricted to these things because an arcon chooses to do so. Just as an example, The Great Lord had her gnosis for centuries before creating the akasha and use the gnosis power to gather the dreams. Just because the grass is green don't mean that everything that is green is also grass

Since Nahida willingly gave both the genosis, she must be indirectly supporting the tsaritsa's plan same as venti and zhongli
Venti didnt willingly give it to the fatui, they forcefully took it from him. And Nahida did kind of trade it for really crucial information and get rid of all of his clones, so even though nahida did indirectly help, she definitely did a very important thing lore wise and it will help us on our journey. I csnt say much about zhongli though because i didnt pay attention then..

Despite being one of the weakest and inexperienced archon, she still managed to fend of one of the most feared Harbingers and squeeze out important intel from him. Not only that she also made him destroy all his other potentially dangerous clones and she did all that by just talking with him.

I know I'm late, but also the fact that he even anticipated there being a conversation and realized that killing her and the Traveler probably would have caused him a lot more trouble than it would ever be worth.

i feel like the gnosis is not very important to the archons. yes, it’s a symbol of power, but if they already have the capabilities of gods what more does the gnosis provide other than status? if nahida’s hunch about the heavenly principles was correct, i wonder what the cryo archon is planning to do, or planning to unleash when she finally gets all the gnoses, and i wonder if the other archons will support her in that endeavor. they probably will since they have some sort of animosity against celestia. this is all really exciting and i think what nahida got was very valuable, we got so much more information than in the other three nations. brilliant storytelling in sumeru so far, and we’ve still got dainsleif quests too
I think Tsarista want Destroyed All Genosis on same Time, like Nahida Said Genosis is their (Heavenly Principals) Simbol they rules all Teyvat and By Destroyed all Genosis in same Time its make Heavenly Principals already not rules Teyvat, well I don't know what Damage will take by Heavenly Principals if all Genosis destroyed in same time but I think that was Tsarista plan to collection all Genosis.

Raiden's Gnosis -> Controls the weather making it thunder
Nahida's Gnosis -> Powers the Akasha system

So apparently she's in a slumber, the gnosis, or more than one, breaking could wake her up, even the Harbingers are weary of her, and she's an isekai character like the traveler
So it's possible that Asmoday is "The Second Who Came" and Alice may be "The Third", which leaves the Traveler as the "Fourth and Final".

I have a gut feeling that the fatui would create a scandal and play a victim role in the big scandal case in fontaine as to gain a gnosis from focalors in exchange of justice. And i think focalors will have to give them her gnosis cause as what we've seen so far, a lot of these archons hold their principle really strictly and focalors value absolute justice. So even if it was the fatui, i think she'll still grant the justice they "deserved"

I guess that we somehow will get the Pyro Gnosis and will give it to a fatuus harbinger on purpose only in Shneznaya (if the Pyro Gnosis aren't already give to the Tsarita a long ago, wich is a plausible thing at this point)
this electro gnosis gonna have its own economy, things getting traded around like a pokemon card.
The Doctor erasing his other selves is so weird. Why introduce such an amazing and weird power *just* for the sake of a minor misdirect? I mean, the only role this power played was in faking his exit from Sumeru. But the story didn't depend on that. We barely know why, but we don't know *how* at all. And it's already over. But apparently it was "extraordinarily difficult to create, requiring extremely rare resources etc", but he can just undo it with a thought? Why is it so easy for him to eliminate all his segments? What's the consequence of this? Did all his other selves just vanish? What were they doing? Did each segment actually have its own physical body or were they all just a form of (instantly treatable) split personality disorder? It's almost like one writer introduced this idea, then another writer took over and didn't know what to do with it, so just wrote it back out. Very weird.
That said, Nahida daring him to gamble on awakening the Heavenly Principles was bad arse. Also, the Doctor's voice acting is great.
He mentioned something afterwards, “Youre *temporarily* ahead of me” (to Nahida), he may be able to reproduce them a little sooner, what Nahida did was to probably cripple him for now, being he is no.2, he may do disservice to other nations as well

Dottore and Nahida are character foils. Nahida is given the power of many perspectives from the get go through her interactions with irminsul, but yet has had no chance to achieve new knowledge. Dottore is a man who is a scientist first and foremost, but has attempted to gain perspective or wisdom through his science, in splitting himself between different vessels... It's quite interesting to see two brilliant individuals talk to each other. I hope we get to see them butt head again someday

Its crazy how they introduced something that went over all our heads.
The doctor has clones of himself in different timelines.. which means different versions of yourself can co exist in the current timeline if you know how to… which also means you can talk to yourself before and after and stuff…

he didn't say they were from diferent timelines, he said they are versions of his from diferent points of his life, like imagine having a clone but instead of thinking and acting like you do he thinks and acts like did ten years ago. That way he can get many diferent perspectives of things at once.

People are forgetting a purely simple reason nahida gave away her gnosis unprofitably, she would've been kicked so hard by the doctor at that point in time that she hope she gave it for free, not trying to side on the doctor or bullying nahida just stating fact, but rather she gained a rumor that was hidden from us about fake sky, where knowledge is a resources, still a win for nahida for me.

It makes sense. If you need to take something from someone by force, you need to find the weaknesses in that person's ideals and ways and act accordingly, otherwise you're bound to fail. You can't take Ei's gnosis by force because she doesn't give a #### about your freedom and she's better at combat anyways. You can't exchange Venti's gnosis for knowledge because he probably wouldn't be interested enough in it. You can't make a contact with Nahida because she doesn't value contracts, and so on. You get it by now.
But yeah, it's still cool
If I had to guess, Focalors will exchange their Gnosis for a "fair trial" or by "right of judgement". The Pyro Archon will exchange theirs for "trial by combat" or "plead of war". I dunno about Snezhnaya, but I dislike most of the Harbingers already.
