I think a video solely focused on female serial killers would be really interesting. I watch deadly women on Investigation Discovery a lot and it can be interesting to learn about how they differ from male serial killers and what makes them similar as well.

I know you said you were interested in making more serial killer videos so I wanted to suggest one on more modern serial killers? I notice in most of the videos I watch, a lot of the info is from killers of the 60s, 70s, and 80s so if there are any that have been convicted more recently, I'd love to see what ones interest you!

Great video, Sarah! So interesting. Have you seen the show Mindhunter? There's a number of serial killers portrayed in that show, particularly Edmund Kemper, the BTK killer, Jerry Brudos

can you make a video about how to love someone with mental illness? for example, should you push an anxious shut in to get out more, or should you accept their lifestyle because it's how they cope with their illness? and if your friend who has bpd lashes out at you with hurtful words some times and is obsessed with you at other times, how do you best react to that behavior? you know it's not that person's fault, but it's still hard to accept that and take it because you know they don't mean it. i think that'd be an interesting video :)
kenna you should ask Katie Morton to do a video on this topic if she hasn’t already. She is a therapist that makes tons of really good informative videos on mental illness. She might already have a video on that topic, not sure. She has a lot of videos!

I agree with Hanna, as someone who struggles with mental illness, you should ask what would help them specifically, not all people react the same to coping strategies. If it helps, Quora is a good website to look that up on as well, just if you want some extra information or opinions.

I also saw someone mentioned Mindhunter below and personally I would love to see you review that show. I thought it was really fascinating personally to see how the characters were shaped for bad and for good by the serial killers they interacted with and how it influenced their own decisions.

British serial killers would be curious to examine, we have the Yorkshire ripper, the Moors murderers and unfortunately quite a few other cases in this little country. The Jamie Bulger case is an isolated murder but it's very disturbing as it was committed by children, one of whom has re-offended since being released from a adolescent correctional facility (I believe). A video on children murderers and psychological states that lead them to it would be very interesting. Love your videos :)

We nearly have the same birthday, I’m March 20th. Didn’t know you were a fellow Pisces. Have you ever done videos about astrology, and the psychological reasons why people follow it and other psychic type things?
And since you just mentioned it, I find supernatural things very interesting. I’m also skeptical about all this stuff, and it would be cool to get a skeptics view of the “paranormal”.
My birthday is on the 18th of March! ^ _ ^ I didn’t know she was a Pisces either!! I don’t follow the astrology thing but I look it up for fun sometimes.

I'm also a fellow Pisces (March 18th) and before even looking at your comment I was totally thinking Sarah should do a video on Astrology and talk about things like intuition, psychic abilities, etc.
Yay, so many March babies. Same, it’s something I just find interesting, not that I believe it’s fact in any way. I gathered that she wouldn’t believe in that either, that’s why I would like to hear her opinion. Maybe present me with new information about why astrology was created and why people believe in it, I didn’t mean a video telling us what each sign means - probably should have made that more clear.
A part 2 would be great! I'd be very interested in a video discussing the psychology behind serial killers. What drives them? Each case is going to differ of course but there has to be something that drives someone to do something so horrific.

Thank you so much for what you said about mental illness and serial killers. All to often people associate illness and killing. I know someone who was diagnosed BPD and was terrified it meant they were going to become a killer because it seems that they diagnose a lot of killers with BPD and its almost never talked about as being the exception. Hope this made sense...
