- Yes you read it right, with only one bakery in Gloucestershire making healthy bread; that we know of, we make a weekly journey to Halls Bakery in Stroud.
Join the 3 of us making the most of the journey, what better way to travel that by bike, in the sun, on a flat trail. The canals are a great way to see wildlife, so many birds nesting, swans, ducks and other wild foul, hatching out.

About me.
Left school at 15, worked on Farm, then worked up to production manager at concrete factory, before starting Landscape gardening business. Then Mountain biking grabbed me. 37 plus years as a bicycle mechanic and wheel builder, frame designer, rider, shop owner, owner of Smokestone bikes, event organiser and trail builder. Lovely day lovely cenrey. We cant go out in chorts yet in sweden it just snowed today. Love that you take care of your helt well done ive only eaten a copple of doanuts and a twix today and had some sugary drinks and to morrow im going to sellebrate my doughter birthday so i belive sce has made some cace. Great stuff Graham, something else to consider that I believe is helping me is magnesium supplements and also vit D 20iu per day which is much more than the govt recommended.
Most bread is so highly refined it's hard to find anyone these days who sells proper bread. Spelt flour bread is supposed to be very good too.
It's a shame we only care about our health when we get older. Speaking for myself.
Yes, supermarket bread is so bad. It should have a health warning in it.

@@GrahamFootBicycleLover yeah - we used Halls for cakes rather than bread (Dangerfield's for bread) but have a couple of customers that regularly order the sour doughs. They come on a Monday....
We split the two products from different bakers as we can get a wider variety of products and some like Halls and some like Dangerfields.
I've just done the canal path to sharpness Docks and got lost on the way good day out no bread
How can you get lost? Its straight haha
