In this video I go over how to use seats.aero to quickly search and find Delta One award availability that is bookable via Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
Seats.aero is sooo helpful in many instances!
Oy. I’m still learning. Great info
Nice video, I will use this one.
I wish i still lived by a min hub. Flying from my little airport sucks. Positioning flights might be the answer
How about from lax or anywhere in California
I am trying to fly between Atlanta and LHR or DUB. I am looking at Virgin, BA or Flying Blue. Leanting towards BA. Any other suggestions?
imagine doing this and getting the LATAM Delta One hard product lol
Is there a way to get the alerts for all the transfer bonuses when they occur?
Does anyone know where to find the transfer bonus? I'm not seeing it on my Amex account at the moment
It is complex if you search for 2 tickets?
How do you feel about taking advantage of the bonus preemptively - in order to bank for future travel planned for next year? Or, I read that this deal came around back in June and November - so would it be better to wait until the bonus comes around again for Spring 2025 travel?
How do you transfer your miles from delta amex to virgin Atlantic
Max, can you help explain why sometimes people would suggest calling Virgin Atlantic to book award flights? How does that work?
Not for Delta, only Ana
can you do korean air
Coming soon!
I’m new to this and trying to understand. So one could Book a Business class Delta flight through Virgin Atlantic and were able to use our AMEX points for this transaction?
In this video, it’s essentially 50k points + the additional $dollar fee?
Is this correct?
Yes! You can search up other people’s videos about booking ANA flight to Japan, or similar, a lot of them will use Virgin bc they have a peak / off season table where they charge a flat point rate. (Only ANA requires a call in I believe bc of a video Max has where he talks about how they have a special partnership)
Thifty Traveler has a great article called:
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club: A Guide to Earning & Redeeming Virgin Points
Which goes through way more in detail. But tldr:
Virgin atlantic, sometimes has ability to book partner airline flights if the partner airline makes that seat availability open to partners, which bc of their relatively flat rate point model where if u fly from destination X to Y on their table, will always be the same cost.
Lot of the stuff from what I’ve watched is similar to this. Looking at one partnered airline reward program to try to book with the actual airline u want to book since everyone handles it differently and essentially taking advantage of that inefficient system.
Correct, transfer AMEX MR to Virgin Atlantic, then book D1 flights using VS points through the VS website
do you know if i transfer my amex points to virgin, will those points have an expiration date?
No expiration
Which points are you using Amex or Chase?
Which ever one you want or whichever one has a transfer bonus. Right now Amex has a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic
Do you typically see business class award availability more often with Virgin Atlantic, Flying Blue, or Air Canada?
Virgin Atlantic would rank 3rd amoung flying blue and air Canada haha
Flying blue by far
Just feels like a 5 minute ad.
✨️✈️🌏
Bla,nothing is clear.
Max, virgin Atlantic is down at seats.aero thats why you are seeing data which was not updated.
