There was a prison van break in France yesterday in which 2 police were killed. I did wonder when I heard the story if the prisoner who was sprung could have been one of the "usual suspects" As PJW would say "Imagine my shock"!
My Aunt is a Catholic Nun and lived in Wellingborough where she volunteered in Wellingborough prison. This was thirty years ago and a vacancy arose for a prison chaplain. Auntie applied but an Iman was chosen even though Christians were the majority at that time. The prison system must have expected an influx of Muslims. They were of course correct.
I was a prison officer & Islam runs prisons in the UK. Prisoners are bullied into converting. The management make sure Islamic prayers go ahead every Friday & its usually chaos. This is a decades old plan & it makes sense from 'their' point of view to prioritise Islam in prisons.

If you feel that parliament is unlikely to care about what is best for the UK, then we need to be more vocal than those wanting more migration. My feeling is that parliament has started to hear some of the discontent about uncontrolled migration, but the message needs to be beaten into them - as soon as our backs are turned, you can guarantee that they will increase migration. Note that the petition expires on the 18 of June 2024. If you want your voice to be heard then you need to sign the petition, and share its details on your own social media, and with friends and family.

Knowing full well a higher percentage we’re going to prison a higher percentage of women would have to bring up children Alone again with the help of the government. Unfortunately for them I do sympathise with them but having said that they have more things wrong with them sickle-cell it’s just onething. therefore need more hospital treatment than the average white man. Here in East Anglia we experience them in the war when they left many girls pregnant and then just cleared off back to America never to be seen again. When I retired over a year ago there was plenty in prison and the amount was becoming larger year on year. They were nearly always in for things that are forbidden under their religion or Sharia. Nearly always drugs, gangs, and violence/ murder.

The police were called, and when they arrived, they were given several pieces of video footage of the incident by witnesses. There is one little lack of legal understanding on the part of these newcomers, and that is the Child Protection Act. The assault on the car resulted in an attempted assault of a minor by action because children were in the car. The police had the power to act without a complainant under this new law, and guess what, the self entitled fools were still at the scene.

Yes they are over represented , are involved in the drug and mini burner phone trade inside prisons along with a large proportion of the male prison staff and often re-offend in order to continue their trade inside as the rewards are substantial .

The issue of poverty; it does not predispose a person to committing crime & ending up in prison. When I was a young 'un, I was very poor indeed. Never, arrested, never charged, never in any prison. I had no time to commit crimes, I was studying hard & then working so bloomin' hard to get out of poverty & make my way in life. Another aspect; the police treat muslim offenders with 'kid-gloves'. If the police & the justice system were truly fair & impartial, there would be many more muslims in prison than the current percentages reflect. I did some educational work in a Class C prison. There are some Hindu prisoners, few admittedly. The ones I met were mostly imprisoned for some sort of white-collar crime.
The merchant types are too smart to do petty crimes, they go for the top dollar in white collar crimes, and most important they mingle cheek by jowl with high officials.
Never had an issue with Hindu while the Sikh & Gurkha's/non pacifist Buddhists are the only lot i could fight beside without complaint. I permit Christians as they permit me for the most part being able to be reasoned with on a good day but come on we all know the faiths that are more hassle then they are worth having about. Musulmanus at the top of the list as nothing about them is peaceful with the Iudaeus never seeming to learn why they aren't popular. Just did a quick fact check - foreign prisoners: Pakistani - 3% which is less than host demograhy which stands at 2.5%. Then checked British Asian which is at 7% and the host demograhy being 8%. Although I suspect the British Pakistani being some what higher then their numbers would suggest. Reason could be this demograhy is younger then native British. As regards the "Muslim" population is prison did you consider the "reverts" to make that number ?

Yes they are over represented , are involved in the drug and mini burner phone trade inside prisons along with a large proportion of the male prison staff and often re-offend in order to continue their trade inside as the rewards are substantial .

The issue of poverty; it does not predispose a person to committing crime & ending up in prison. When I was a young 'un, I was very poor indeed. Never, arrested, never charged, never in any prison. I had no time to commit crimes, I was studying hard & then working so bloomin' hard to get out of poverty & make my way in life.
Another aspect; the police treat muslim offenders with 'kid-gloves'. If the police & the justice system were truly fair & impartial, there would be many more muslims in prison than the current percentages reflect.

I did some educational work in a Class C prison. There are some Hindu prisoners, few admittedly. The ones I met were mostly imprisoned for some sort of white-collar crime.
It's statistically zero, or some fraction less than 1%. There obviously are Hindus in prison.

I have heard many accounts of people being converted to Islam in prison. That might account for part of it.
Since the conversions appear to be more or less under duress I doubt they will much outlast the release date.

I wonder how this same exercise would play out if performed in a Muslim caliphate. Are Muslims breaking predominantly Christian or British laws, acts which would be perfectly legal or go unpunished in an Islamic state? Likewise, would Christians be more likely to be imprisoned? Perhaps it is best not to answer the latter. A Muslim Caliphate of London has many high roofs.

Just did a quick fact check - foreign prisoners: Pakistani - 3% which is less than host demograhy which stands at 2.5%. Then checked British Asian which is at 7% and the host demograhy being 8%. Although I suspect the British Pakistani being some what higher then their numbers would suggest. Reason could be this demograhy is younger then native British. As regards the "Muslim" population is prison did you consider the "reverts" to make that number ?
