Vakil Mosque or Soltani Mosque is a historical mosque related to the Zandiya period in Shiraz, which was built by the order of Karim Khan Zand.
This mosque is located in the west of Vakil Bazaar and at the end of Shamshirgarha Row. The plan of this mosque is two porches and it has two southern and eastern naves.
South Shabestan with integrated and spiral stone columns is one of the characteristics of Iranian architecture and one of the scenic areas of this mosque, which has 48 integrated stone columns.
The area of this Shabestan is about 5 thousand square meters and the pulpit with fourteen steps made of marble is one of the beauties of Shabestan, which was brought from Maragheh to Shiraz by order of Karim Khan.
On the north side of the mosque, a tall and important arch is built, which is known as the pearl arch, and around this arch, one of the surahs of the Quran is written in a crescent shape with a large pen and a high third line.
