- مسجد وکیل یا مسجد سلطانی، مسجدی تاریخی مربوط به دوره زندیان در شیراز است که به دستور کریم‌خان زند ساخته شد. این مسجد در غرب بازار وکیل و در انتهای راستهٔ شمشیرگرها واقع شده‌است طرح این مسجد دو ایوانی بوده و دارای دو شبستان جنوبی و شرقی است.
شبستان جنوبی با ستون‌های سنگی یکپارچه و مارپیچ از شاخصه‌های معماری ایرانی و از مناطق دیدنی این مسجداست که دارای ۴۸ ستون سنگی یکپارچه می‌باشد.
مساحت این شبستان در حدود ۵ هزار متر مربع است و منبر چهارده پله‌ای یکپارچه از سنگ مرمر از زیبائی‌های قسمت شبستان می‌باشد. گویند به فرمان کریم خان این سنگ از مراغه به شیراز آورده شد.
در سمت شمال مسجد طاق بلند و مهمی ساخته شده که به طاق مروارید معروف است و در دور این طاق با قلم درشت و خط ثلث عالی یکی از سوره‌های قرآن به صورت هلالی نوشته شده‌است.
این مسجد بر طبق بافت معماری سنتی این مرز و بوم در یک مجموعه اجتماعی قرار گرفته و هماهنگی زیبایی را در پیوند دین و دنیا، به وجود آورده‌است. کاشی کاری صحن و ایوان‌های شمالی و جنوبی نیز بسیار زیبا و از انواع هفت رنگ و معرق می‌باشد.
مسجد وکیل در سفرنامه به سوی اصفهان پیرلوتی این گونه معرفی شده‌است: "امروز خوشبختانه موفق شدم وارد مسجد کریم خان شوم بی شبهه اگر مدتی در این جا بمانم به همه محل‌هایی که دخول به آنها اکنون به‌طور کامل برایم ممنوع است، وارد می‌شوم. مردم این شهر نسبت به من بسیار ملایم و مهربانند. خطوط و نقوش معماری مسجد، ساده و بی‌آلایش است، ولی در همه جا، میناکاری و رنگ‌های سبز و قرمز دیده می‌شود و این تجمل به حد افراط رسیده‌است هیچ قسمتی از دیوار را نمی‌توان یافت که به دقت میناکاری نشده باشد. اکنون در کاخی لاجوردین و فیروزه فام هستیم."

The Vakil Mosque is a mosque in Shiraz, situated to the west of the Vakil Bazaar next to its entrance. This mosque was built between 1751 and 1773, during the Zand period; however, it was restored in the 19th century during the Qajar period. Vakil means regent, which was the title used by Karim Khan, the founder of Zand Dynasty. Shiraz was the seat of Karim Khan’s government and he endowed many buildings, including this mosque. Vakil Mosque covers an area of 8,660 square meters. It has only two iwans instead of the usual four, on the northern and southern sides of a large open court. The iwans and court are decorated with typical Shirazi haft-rangi tiles, a characteristic feature of the art and industry of Shiraz during the latter half of the 18th century. Its night prayer hall (Shabestan), with an area of approximately 2,700 square meters, contains 48 monolithic pillars carved in spirals, each with a capital of acanthus leaves. The minbar in this hall is cut from a solid piece of green marble with a flight of 14 steps and is considered to be one of the masterpieces of the Zand period. The exuberant floral decorative tiles largely date from the Qajar period.
