Really enjoyed that run. Like you said I could not pass mine up for what I payed for it and it's a fun rig but I'm glad you represented it to people for what is is. It's fun but any trx4m or axial would be a much better choice if a dedicated crawling is the goal. I really wish it had leaf springs. Thanks for sharing the run. Can't wait to see it on the course with Cotton Hill.👍

😁👍 Thanks for the props Doug, As for the Jeep... You know me "I'm not a snowball artist" and I always try to show each vehicle for what it is "with no extra sugar coating"😊
The Jeep is a great vehicle and pretty darn fun to drive around, "as long as you don't exceed it's limits, and treat it for what it is" 😊 which once again "is kinda like a shelf model, that just happens to be equipped with a working drivetrain"😕
It's a real fun vehicle if your able to imagine yourself behind the whee,l and not exceed the vehicles limits.
      😊👍 I like it...
But it's definitely not a Trx4, or a SCX 10, or Gen 7 or 8, or an Ascender, or even a RC4wd product, Which is probably one of the most solid scale RC's made, "RC4wd vehicles are much more solid.😁 Nevertheless... The Roc Hobby Jeep is a Great looking scale vehicle, but it's definitely not a every day crawler.😄👍
Cotton Hills Time is on the way...😊 I did a driver figure install video on Friday morning 4/26/24, and then did a Run video later that day on the Adventure Course,😊 First run in the Dirt with the Jeep, and also "technically" the first run for the summer season.😁 And for a "scale model" she didn't do too bad,😊 it's still no where near everyday crawler capabilities, but it didn't do too bad for what it is.😄 I certainly had fun driving it none the less! 😊
It's limited off-road abilities and performance is half the fun when trying to negotiate obstacles.😁😄 Ha ha ha lol Once again "it's a fun little jeep for what it is.😊
And your right... It should come equipped with leaf springs 😕👍
Thanks again for your compliments, and many more for your indepth comment, "it says that you paid attention to the video" And I appreciate that... Thanks man.😊👍🤜🤛

You know mister jim,,FMS They seem to use leaf Springs on the 1/12 scale RC vehicles, but not the 1/10 scale vehicles, and what are they thinking?

You know, FMS is doing pretty good. They are swinging for the fence, They're basically putting the ball over the third base fence ,,U,, know, but,, There may be some stuff. They need to fix up a little bit.

Yeah they definitely seem to be pretty popular on YT these days,😕 And they definitely need to work on a few more things too,🙄😄 Such as the Frame, Transmission, and Body Plastic,😕 and possibly Bearings too,🤔 I haven't taken it apart that far yet, but I'm almost wondering if this thing has Bushings all the way around vs Bearings, She was squeaking quite a bit towards the end of the run, and the Transmission seemed like it was making some noise as well,🤔😕 Hmm I might just have to do a video about that, "meaning tare it all down with the camera running, and decide later wether or not it's video worthy later"
      😄 Lol
Different note; I did a video about installing a Driver Figure inside the Jeep yesterday morning, and then did a First Run in the Dirt "out on the adventure course" right afterwards, or at least after I blew all the leaves off of the course,🙄 not to mention uploading this video yesterday as well,😄 ha lol yesterday was a long day, I pulled a all nighter on Thursday "working on last minute video edits for this video, and I worked right into Friday morning with editing, And then I got a bug up my rear end about taking the Jeep out on the adventure course, And remembered that I wanted to put a driver figure in it before the next video,🙄 So at around 7am I started doing a Driver install how to video "which was pretty extensive" and finished around 2pm, Then I looked at the Adventure Course and seen that it was Hammered Poo with fallen widow maker's and leaves,🙄😞 So at around 2:10pm I busted out my Bad A#$ 80cc two stroke Husqvarna backpack blower and went to work,😕 started at 2:10, finished at around 5:30 and went through a tank and a half of gas, which was about a gallon and a half, and then I took the Jeep out for an hour and a half on video, and then I went into town to upload this last video, and then I came home and had some dinner, and then after that I really can't remember,🤔😄lol I think that I fell asleep. "Yesterday and Thursday are kind of a blur,😕 Oh... And I Rolled the jeep over twice yesterday, and believe it or not the windshield is still attached.😂 Ha ha ha lol
