EP. 1 - Volkswagen Build - Fabricated seat panels using POWER HAMMER and Profile dies

On this episode we cover a lot. These old split window Kombi's are not known for a lot of room in the drivers seat - 6’8” in height doesn’t allow us to sit comfortably. So out came the rear seat panel and we created a new one that would allow the driver seat to lay back. Profile dies were made to create bead lines that resemble the stock ones, the bench seat was cut and split into two pieces, allowing the driver to have a better seat position. A stainless bar was bent to make a nice grab rail for the rear passengers and much more. Something different indeed.
