This time, Fr. Altman sat down with Jake from Cream City Catholic for a scheduled interview. Our thanks to Fr. Altman for taking time out of his day to speak with us!
Fr. Altman is, in our opinions, absolutely correct in all his assessments and comments. He's also correct in humbly stating that he's not a star; he's God's instrument. And he is a legitimate hero for having the courage to follow God's inspirations and courageously follow them for the sake of others' souls, despite the personal repercussions he undoubtedly knew would come. He has shown us how to be a "good and faithful servant" today. God bless you and keep you, Father!

Very dangerous statement. God’s instrument is the Church created by Our Lord Jesus. Not X or Y. Luther and Calvin believed they were God’s instruments to reform the Church. Fortunately, father Altman doesn’t use your words. They are ambiguous. There’s only one Church. No small groups ‘fans of father X’ or ‘groupies of father Y’. I believe the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

I'm so happy I discovered a Traditional Latin Mass parish in my town just over a year ago. At age 62 my lifetime Catholicism is being deepened and refreshed. Thanks to this parish and priests like Father Altman I'm getting clarity on the unchanging and unchangeable truths of God. So happy to see a new interview with our Father Altman.
Mine too, at age 56. My one regret is that I didn’t know anything about it while raising my daughter. She was, completely, turned off by Novis Ordo. She’s not turned off by God, though, so I pray hard for her return to the sacraments.

Agree 100% with you! I'm 69 and remember the heavenly lifting I felt at the Latin Mass, and falling in love with Jesus as I prepared for my First Holy Communion at 7.
53 and 63, my husband and I are also beginning now to attend Latin mass. We love that it's not about the priest being on the same political wave, the homily being something that speaks to us, or entertainment and music. It's not about what we get out of it. Latin mass is about God. It's about what we give Him.
Fr. Altman always gives moral clarity and makes things lively. God bless you!

Do not mistake pride and arrogance for courage. It seems he once was a good shepherd feeding his flock without fanfare or flourish. But then fell into addiction to publicity and self-importance. Such a shame.

I started attending TLM at an ICKSP apostolate last Easter and my faith has grown exponentially while I'm constantly learning how poorly formed my faith was, how much we've lost and how much the enemy within is still trying to take from us. Thank you for letting Father Altman speak.

I made the exact same discovery of the TLM as Fr Altman as my kids learned to serve the TLM with several long server practices to learn all the various positions. I learned so much myself during those sessions.
I grew up with the Latin Mass (I’m over 90) and then came Vatican ll. Because it came from Rome and Bishops, I thought it was authentic teachings from Jesus. I’ll admit it made it easier for me at the time, I could understand Mass in English much easier. but I start missing the holiness of the Mass. look at our church today, everybody is free from mortal sin, so everyone goes to communion, but I see very, very few at confession. Most of the younger people do not genuflect before entering the pew, no respect for Jesus at all 😢 and they dress like their going to a concert or bar. ALSO, they come to Mass late ⏰, very late, after the Gospel. May God have mercy on us.
@@evienelson7202 Thank you for sharing. Your experiences on how the younger generations dress/act is one of the things which irritate me at the post Vatican 2 Novus Ordo Mass. I'm 44 and married with 5 kids ages 3-17. We belong to a diocesan parish where we have been doing the TLM since 2017. There is a major difference in terms of reverence, which is why my family is now 99.9% of the time at the TLM. The boys will serve the Novus Ordo here and there for the bishop (we live in the see of the diocese).

We miss Latin Mass,it is so Holy ,spiritual and Reverend .l am 70 yrs of age at present,when l was young I sang and prayed 🙏in Latin during Holy Mass, I enjoyed singing the Hymns during Mass and during Benediction.l really miss Latin Mass. I love to listen Latin Hymns in internet and murmur along .Amen . India, Meghalaya.

I completed my secondary education in 1960 all of it having been through Catholic schools and Catholic boarding school.
I was deeply committed and schooled myself to be a useful apologist for the church.
But then through the sixties as i watched the Sunday churches which in the fifties had been packed at every mass rapidly empty out as the effects of vatican 2 drained almost every bit of meaning from the institution I felt out of place myself and left.
Many said that they could no longer see the point of attending.
On one occasion in a small town I attended mass and was disturbed to find that the young priest interrupted proceedings to bend over fiddle with his tape recorder and cue some dreadful crappy tune which was meant to add to the occasion. At the end 8 was so enraged that I went into the sacristy and gave him both barrels point blank. He had little understanding and stood there gasping like beached fish.
Anyway more power to Fr Altman.

I noticed the interviewer addressed Fr Altman as Fr James. Prior to Vatican 2 no one would be so disrespectful in addressing a priest by his Christian name, this Norvus Ordo practice was unheard of. Now it is commonplace. Another thing is no one bows their head when they utter or hear the Holy name Jesus, not even priest's. This was drummed into us growing up in the church in the 1950s by our priest's,our teacher's and our parents. We always had prayers in assembly prior to class.
We were nurtured in the true Roman Catholic faith. I am so grateful and so blessed to have grown in the faith with devout Catholic parents, and attended a devout Roman Catholic school.

It is an honor to have Fr. Altman as a wonderful spiritual father at 💯!!! It doesn’t hurt my fillings. Cause Mother Church taught me threw EWTN. We don’t go by Our fillings. Fr. Larry Richards taught it as well!! My Bishop is cool. Bishop Charles Thompson! Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He didn’t give in to a guidance counselor at a local high school. She no longer works and advocates to the kids, that it is real. And okay with Our Lord to so call marry the same sex. At another school, he asked they not recontract a same case with a teacher. The school didn’t listen. So, Bishop Thompson took The Catholic title away from the school. However!! Pope Francis, mandates Bishop Thompson to reinstate The Catholic word on The High School. He has done other wonderful things, that I am aware of. God bless also Bishop Thompson! He is doing the best he can under his extension of authority. He has to fallow law, as Jesus did, to pay taxes. When the churches where closed in Geneva I started looking for online masses, this is how I "discovered" Fr. Altman, I immediately recognized him as a good shepherd and started following his videos. I am still not allowed to attend NO masses because I do no have the pass. Anyway I had decided to stop attending those masses even before the pass obligation because of the forced communion on the hand. Now I go to TLM, I am not planning to go back to NO churches, now they seem to be of a different religion to me. Fr. Altman is in my prayers.
Fr Altman is my hero! I hope he adopts me as his spiritual child. He speaks Truth and you know it when you hear it. Please God bless this holy priest and be his safeguard as we journey forward.

I moved my children to a Traditional Catholic school where they are learning about the Earth in Science class. My childrens' friends in a Diocesan Catholic school are learning about SEX in Science class! What on Earth is going on here? BISHOPS: Wake up!!💒
That is definitely for the parent to discuss with children of appropriate age. Unfortunately, a lot of parents fail in this area and children look to internet and other sources...and most get addicted to porn as a result.

How the Holy Spirit directs us all is amazing. How I stumbled upon Father Altman a few months ago I can't even remember where I was when I saw him for the first time. Now finding your channel and these interviews. DO NOT DOUBT for a second the difference you are making Father Altman and all fellow Catholics. I am not a "Holy Roller" by any means but I do follow my heart/soul or is it simply the Holy Spirit? That is what I do believe is directing me.
