You won't find a bigger Lauren Babic stan on the planet than me, but even so, this cover is more of a direct copy with worse sounding instrumentals. There isn't a lot of "making it their own" here imo.

I'm loving the alternate approach to the instrumentation. Also love the way she transitions to vocal types. nothing beats the original but if i was going to make a slipknot covers album this would be on it.

One of the main reasons I've idolized slipknot so fucking much is that they showed so much RAW power and talent. Regardless, I still enjoy what this band has to offer. I'll be sure to keep an eye on this band.

While I agree on some point that the "digital" augmentation of the cover isn't what I'm into, I can appreciate that they've done something different with the song. If I wanted to listen to how the song's supposed to sound like, I'd go to the original.
Additionally, I enjoyed her vocals quite a bunch, I've been trying to find more bands with lead female vocals. Particularly, bands that've got that dreamy, almost ethereal Deftones vibe? I know that's pretty different from Slipknot's style, but maybe someone out there has heard any?
