Thank you! 90% of trend predictions have been the same exact things that have been trending for a year! I want ppl actually taking a risk w/ their predictions. I like your out there trends and I would love to see a video on how to incorporate them into normal wardrobes
This is exactly what I thought!! I was so bored with seeing the sane thing over and over and it all being things that have been around for months that I really thought I’d rock the boat and put true meaning behind the word ‘prediction’ hehehe
The thing I like about the napkin-type crochet garments is that it would be a development of the crochet obsession we had around quarantine I think. Not only is it a fun hobby, we can also use it to develop our personal style- and what's more personal than a top you made with your own two hands?

I am enjoying the 2010's fashion resurgence with our present-day twist! I am really excited to see more modest fashion trends like the long mermaid or maxi flared chiffon skirts. I hope linen and cotton will be big for spring and summer and a return to easy and simple styles of dressing.

Aaaaa spring is my favorite season, I think the hello kitty part is on point in my country we have Miffy (Nijntje) it looks a bit like hello kitty but then a bunny it was very popular last autumn. AND I want the tennis skorts!! I prefer them with mini skirts because they already have build in shorts :)

i had the same idea about tennis clothes making a resurgence bc of challengers!! i've even found myself drawn toward tennis dresses/tops as everyday-wear when out shopping
I personally have always liked the traditional imagery/colors of tennis--mostly white with a touch of blue and red.

I remember those jesus/saint picture bracelets around the early 2010s. They were pretty popular in Germany, you could also get some with other things on them, I think I had one with flower pictures. There were also lots of cross necklaces, rings and cross prints back then, so maybe that’s going to have a resurgence.

Try for bubble hem ‘puff ball’ , imo bubble hem is just a 2024 rebrand of the puff ball !! And for the drop hem , one thing I quite like is little kids school pinafore dresses, they are normally drop hem and pleated :))) literally in m&s or Asda etc :)))

I hope the fish prediction is real because I got a fish necklace in Dec 2023 and I love it so much! Also, It's like you've been reading my mind about the mermaid/ hanky predictions. I LOVE those, especially for summer my inspiration has been the Edwardian nightgown kind of things and everything on a bias cut to be flow but flattering

I’m very much in agreement with the Jesus-core prediction. I’ve been visiting the museum a lot and after the Botticelli exhibit and now, the current San Francisco: Century of Fashion exhibit, I can see people taking inspiration from the resurgence of these very religious art pieces, as well as some of the more experimental works like The Birth of Venus & Primavera. Keep an eye out for lots of half-draped nudity and some cloaks & capes. It’s gonna be 🔥. 😂

I don’t participate in trends very much at all tbh, I have a very particular style and am way too insecure to branch out hahahah ! But I love talking about it and love the fashion rhetoric around trends !!:)

i love your channel and i thought this vid was a little more adventurous than your usual which is nice to see but please dont even start joking about this 'jesuscore' thing. i understand christian imagery is always going to be popular in the mainstream but i think its important for especially fashion people like you with a small amount of influence to try to be a little more respectful of christianity as a religion as i think reducing it to its aesthetics has more of an impact than you recognise. obviously many people in the west have grown up in christianity so think that its acceptable to speak on in a diminishing way but just remember before you say something about christianity imagine how you would react if something similar was said about another religion, eg. calling islamic imagery 'muhammadcore' ... i dont mean this at all as hate towards you because im sure you dont realise the importance as this is such an accepted outlook in our society, but if people with even a small amount of influence try to be respectful it can create much more change than you realise
