    Need to see a install on a Coleman Mach 10 Q with the 12x12 filter.

    I’m going to install a machine 15 quiet series heat pump. Next year maybe the new invertor mini split heat pump from furrion when it comes out.

    I have the RV Air Flow units on both of my heat pumps but have an abnormally large amount of dirt buildup on the evaporator coils. I have been meticulous about sealing the seams in the evaporator shroud with foil duct tape and I clean the air filters every two weeks. It ocurred to me that the reduced air pressure under the evaporator shroud will draw outside air from under the AC's base plate through the condensate pan's drain holes where it will contact the evaporator coils.
    Tomorrow when cleaning the evaporator coil I plan to add a piece of OPEN cell foam between the roof and the AC's base plate directly under the two drain holes. This should allow condensate to pass through to the roof yet prevent dirt from being sucked into the evaporator shroud.
    Alternatively a Duck Bill check valve inserted between the drain pan and base plate would allow water to drain but block outside dirt from being sucked into the evaporator shroud but that would best be done by the AC's manufacturer.
    Time will tell if this solves my problem!
    Marc

    Just installed mine today. Made better airflow for sure.......but made the unit louder than it was. Unsure at this point if I'll be keeping it or tossing in the trash.

    I just ordered mine for our Mach 15 unit. I sure wish I would have known about the discount code when I ordered lol. If it works as advertised I'll order another for my bedroom and one for my son's Mach 3 as well. Thanks for the great video.

    May I ask you something honestly… how often do people have leaks after installing this? I mean leaks from water after taking the pressure off the old AC gasket… that’s one thing I really don’t want to tackle and worry about.

      Glad you are enjoying the efficiency of your ACs now. Many RV manufacturers are now installing right from the factory now.

    Nice concept that the cheap manufacturers should be doing. But $175 for a block of Styrofoam is excessive.

    • @rocketcityauction
      @rocketcityauction Před 11 měsíci

      Same answer as above. You are paying for the research and engineering to develop this product. Not the Styrofoam. And yes, I will go find every one of these replies and state this. If people don't make profits, they don't develop innovative products. I don't work for this company, but I do develop businesses, and a great deal happens before a product or facility finally hits the shelves or opens.

      I understand that. It's just that seeing you are paying for a block of Styrofoam.
      I imagine that's a challenge for the marketing department to overcome.

    Like to add the RV AirFlow systems to my Coleman Mach 10 shallow A/C but my vents are only 5 3/4" not 7 1/2" so what's the work around. Trim the view insert to fit?? Thanks.

    How does this work if my coach does not have the large panel? I have a ducted unit. But nothing is on the inside of ceiling. Thanks. I have a keystone which has Coleman Mach units.

    • @rvairflowsystems5829
      @rvairflowsystems5829  Před 2 lety

      If you have a fully ducted system, you won’t have any cover plates like shown in the video. To access the plenum area where the units go you would access it by removing the AC from on top of the RV. You will also need to take some measurements of the plenum so verify a proper fit.

      I see this all the time. Research, development, and engineering are what you are paying for. If it's not profitable and worthwhile, people don't do it and you don't reap the benefits.
