Fun fact: The engine that was "The Experiment" was built with the original Gordon's body from the unaired 1983 pilot, the chassis from Murdoch's model, and the tender from the scrapped, boiler sludge filled tender Henry was pulling from series 3 episode "Tender Engines". "The Experiment" would show up in the series 8 episode "Halloween".

I can't help but shiver when I see this engine. The body and cab of a pacific A1, 10 drive wheels like Murdock and a huge rusty tender. The thing that sends chills down my spine is both the whistle and the voice of this engine
