Kenny Dalglish - Celtic Legend

(1969-1977) • Some moments of class from King Kenny, who scored 173 goals in 338 appearances for Celtic. Dalglish won 4 league titles, 4 Scottish Cups, and 1 League Cup with Jock Stein's Hoops, before going on to win 3 European Cups with Liverpool and set still-standing Scottish international records for caps (102) and goals (30, shared with Denis Law). In 2002, Dalglish was voted into the Hoops' greatest ever XI by supporters, alongside Danny McGrain, Paul McStay, Henrik Larsson, and seven Lisbon Lions.

In my opinion Kenny Dalglish and Michael Platini were the best European players in the first half of the 80s. It's a pity Kenny never won a golden ball, because at that time Liverpool won the Champions League three times.
Kenny Dalglish is among my 10 favourite players, as are George Best and Bobby Charlton.
