Black Sabbath - Wicked World LIVE AT LAST

- The longest damn track on the album. It's funny. 18 minutes totals Supernaut, Sometime's I'm Happy, Deathmask, 2 (I think) guitar solos by Iommi and about 1 or 2 Destructive Bill Ward Drum Solos.
- Hudba
i remember playing this with headphones, smoking good cannabis or hash, headbanging in my chair while watching the inner sleeve and extra picture book of Masters of Reality. Later I played a Sabbath tribute in Amsterdam, making the place bang their heads in the same rhythm. Magic happens when we make our dreams come true!
All hail the awesome destruction of the ways of, and behold the rising of metal!
Black Sabbath, the creators of metal!
real Sabbath here
thanks for this, the best version of wicked world... period.
Powerful live performance ever! Killer evil riff! Sabbath at their prime!
Many slag this album for being too muddy sound-wise. I think the muddiness on the other hand just adds to the atmosphere...
crowbarftw this album kicks ass
@@mikebarker7626 I agree! This record is badass!
I love them!!!!! I'm 20 and they saved my life
@fox8950
Yeah dude, Bill Ward, John Bonham, and Keith Moon! What a time for real rock and roll.
I love this in C# tuning! Its so heavy!
HOLY FUUUCK this is HEAVAY!
His comment barely deserves a response. I saw Sabbath a couple of times in the 70s. To say that Sabbath is rubbish live, means he has no understanding of the band whatsoever. This band brought so much raw power and energy onto the stage. They could play "Three Blind Mice" and it would be a dark, jagged, thunderous, sweaty, ominous, thing of beauty. I've said it before Black Sabbath is a dish, best served live and bloody.
i love black sabbath!! its my prefered band i love!!
one of my fav. sabbath songs... once i found out they did a sludgy version of this song with insane solos live.. this album had to be mine.
I was born 10 years to late...I would cut off my pinky finger to go back in time and see a Black Sabbath concert in 1972.
exactly - sabbath were a blues band - earth - to start with - and things just got gradually heavier. i stlll think of sabbath as having the most original sound of all - ozzys vocals are unique and iommis guitar playing has never been touched - no one can capture his technique properly
exelente tema de los mejores
wonderfull
I like how they slow down the verses.
great song
insane
bill ward !
this riff is so easy, but it sound so epic
damn! tony solo is amazing!
i fucking love ozzy, and sabbath!
Bought this LP today.
@hendrix950 I can definitely tell when something is tuned a half step down. My guitars stay in tune very nicely and I always make sure I'm in tune. You can believe it's a half step down if you want, but I know it's in standard.
¡¡temazo!!
To true.
@zeppelin1996 This is tuned in C#. Sabbaths first two albums and last two (with Ozzy) were in standard tuning. Master Of Reality - Sabotage were played in C#. This version of Wicked World was played during a tour when they had there guitars tuned in C#. Its basically common Sabbath knowledge.
Tony is on point here!
no one on earth can fucking beat this band.....
@hendrix950 Actually, the whole first album was in standard tuning. They didn't play it in C# and speed it up, they played it in standard at a faster speed. They started tuning down in '71. So any concerts from after that time they just played everything in C#, even stuff that was originally standard.
agree
viva black sabbath
Doom!
GR8
You got the Paranoid re-release?! The quad remix?! I thought that was pushed back till February?!
@tsrwalltucky yeah i like his too
Anyone ever hear Asbury Park 75?
This should have been officially released as a live Sabbath album.
It's the best live recording from the Ozzy era and the sound quality is great as it was professionally recorded right off the sound board by a British radio show.
I downloaded it off a torrent site.
Thanks for the mention. Love the hell out of this album but I’ve been looking for some live Ozzy era stuff with the same meaty sound as one of the live records from the 80s, forget which.
bill ward shredding the skins on this track.
i would kill to see this
That drum fill at 0:42 is wicked.
It is edited. as the comment above say, original is 18 minutes, like a medley, returning in the end to wicked world.
LOCAZO VACAN BIEN
this is even doomier than the studio version. Fuckin Great. The 18 minutes-version is a bonus track on my Paranoid re-release. Whats about the tracks "Deathmask" and "Sometimes I am happy"? There doesnt exist any studio versions of those?
Hello mate's whats the year of recording ! THX !
Nono it wasnt actually a real re-release, I know there will be a big 3CD-Rerelease in February but I have a normal Paranoid CD with a bonus track and that is exactly this Version of Wicked World. I dont really know the backgrounds of this CD but i know it wasnt the first release edition.
The drum fill at 5:52 is fucking great.
Bill Ward is great.
@cholulasaucehot
Yes.
Why dont they play this song live anymore!!!!
The Toni Imoni solo was cut short?
what did Ozzy say just after the bass line with drums?
Do you have the song of 18 minutes? Because it would be genius:)
I agree
This was good tune on lemon 714😃😅
WTF half of tonys solo was cut out
want this released on past lives?
according to WIKIPEDIA this has "medley jam that contains Into the Void, Sometimes I'm Happy, Supernaut and drum solo, then turns back into Wicked World"
what is "Sometimes I'm happy"?
czcams.com/video/602NgjH7vuU/video.html
This is Ironic, I just thought today what it would sound like if wicked world was slowed down more.
Why the hell did you cut the song
The first one. Black Sabbath is the second created.
@hendrix950 I play along to their first album all the time, I've never had to tune down a half step though.
Black Sabbath owns Iron Gayden, get used to that !
maldita sea Bill Ward quiere romper la batería...!!!!!
@DoomMetalSludge Yes I know that. If you read my first comment you'll see that I knew. I was arguing with hendrix950 about whether or not this song was originally in standard, which it was. I realize that they're playing it in C# here. Everything was played in C# from 71-75.
The godfathers of heavy metal/doom metal.... The masters!!! This recording skips too!!!
@whatever890327897895 Relax, man. Take it easy. Enjoy and let people live in peace.
@zeppelin1996 Alright my mistake
god tony iommi cant shred that was a great solo
I wouldn't say it exactly that way, but yes, who doesn't know what a musical genius and true fretboard artist Mr. Tony Iommi is. I published a list 2 years ago for my personal top 10. I think everyone should. Best sounding guitarists ever, ever ever:
Gabriel Ayala
Ritchie Blackmore
Desiree Bassett
Marco Capelli
Fernando Carulli
Tony Iommi
Robbie Robertson
Carlos Santana
Django Reinhart
Andres Segovia
Cheers,
marco
ps: that's a different Marco Capelli in the #4 slot, ok?
9 people are deaf!!
wicked slow 🔴
Ozzy isnt in the band anymore and i dont think dio likes doing ozzy's songs
I hate live junk but good song.
you just dont compare ozzy to dio, its like comparing fire to gas
You're comparing gas to gas -- vocalists are all hot air. Tony Iommi is the band -- he is the FIRE -- because if you replaced him, it wouldn't be Black Sabbath. Not to say I don't appreciate the brilliance of Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, but Iommi held the torch til the very end! He is the fire and even Ozzy recognizes that, fool.
so you are a kitten lover?
i love this song, but they slowed it down way too much in this version.
tony got butchered bad !
Sabbath awful???? man, you don't know anything
